in november i payed nearly one thousand pounds for a saint bernard and with five children to look after vet bills can be a real pain ,i have never had pet insurance before but with a dog this size i thought i ought to look in to it anyway i checked out most online quotes for my dog and tesco gave me the cheapest cover the form i filled in was on line at tesco.com it is very easy to fill in with no complications at all everything they wanted to know was very straight forward and easy to understand it wasnt complicated like some of the others i had tried all they basiccaly wanted to know was common knowledge like whats his name, breed and how much you paid for him and last of all what kind of cover you wanted and guess what ? with in ten minutes i was covered with no comments like we will send forms through the post for you to sign it was great and so easy and the best thing of all was the price he costs me eighteen punds a month full cover for anything

I thought you could have told us more about the buying process and the specifics of cover. Read a few other ops on the site and you can build up a feel for what scores "very helpful"!

Advantages: I found Tesco Pet Insurance to be the best of them all and the price is very fair Disadvantages: Have to send off for claim forms mind you they dont take all that time to come

Advantages: 5% discount for online quotes, easy to apply, competitive premiums, helpful staff Disadvantages: need to get letter for NCD proof, (not available in R.O.I or Northern Ireland)
