We use other financial products from Tesco, and have always found them very competitive and easy to deal with. Their website is easy to navigate, and the online application form for pet insurance only takes 5-10 minutes to complete. It's very straightforward.
We had 2 cats insured with Tesco originally, which cost £8 per month (we pay in 12 monthly instalments by direct debit). Sadly one of our cats became ill with polycystic kidneys, and died quite quickly from renal failure. When we made the claim, it was very simple to do, and the person I spoke to at the call centre was extremely helpful and sympathetic. We had the choice of either paying the excess amount to the vet, who would then claim the rest of the fees himself, or paying the vet the full amount and claiming it back ourselves. We did the latter, and a cheque arrived 2 days later as promised.
Tesco automatically reduced the insurance to £4.68 as we now only have 1 cat . "So they should!" - I hear you cry - but sadly not all insurers are so on the ball.
Overall, a very good service so far, and I would recommend them.
