ooooh i love pizza i do...probably too much as i'm always stuffing my face full of it!! Yes i am a pig and yes i should try and eat more healthy....but i love pizza. Plus for someone who can't cook like my self it's perfect!! No knowledge required, and you can tell when it's done when the smoke alarm goes off!! Ha, only joking. This fabulous Tesco frozen pizzeria stonebaked margherita, isn't the best pizza you can get, but for the money it's a bargin!! Obviously i bought it at tescos (duh!!) and i got 2 for £3!!! How brill is that! It isn't one of tescos short term offers either....i checked on the website and it's on for another year!!! Well thats me sorted then....and i don't have to rush and stock up just yet!!!!

****The Pizza****

Well this is your normal size pizza weighing approx 460g. It's a thin and crispy (stonebaked) pizza base, topped with tomatoe sauce, mozarella, chedder, red chedder and emmental cheeses, with lovely little cherry tomatoes on top. Yum!!! Great if your a big cheese lover!!! Also perfect if you are a vergetarian!!!!

****How to cook****

Well this is a frazen pizza so for best results.....cook it from frozen!!! Remove all the packaging (unless you like the hint of plastic variety!!) Pre-heat your oven to 200c/400f and then pop directly on the top shelf, pour yourself a drink, wait about 20 mins, and viola!!! Your mini taste of italy!!! The cooking times do need to be reduced if you've got a fan assisted oven (I usually cook mine for 15/16 minutes!!)

****Ingredients****

This little pile pounder includes
- wheat flour
- tomatoe puree (19%)
- Cherry tomatoe (11%)
- Emmental cheese (9%)
- Mozzarella cheese (9%)
- chedder cheese (6%)
- Red chedder cheese (6%)
- water
- yeast
- salt
- vegetable oil
- sugar
- olive oil
- yeast extract
and finally the all important herbs!!! Phew!!!! So as you can see from the above list there are no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives!!! How good is that!!!

****The taste****

This pizza can vary, each time you taste it but it is generally pretty reliable and very tasty. There is always plenty of puree and cherry tomatoes, which is quite nice as it balances out the strength of all those cheeses. Now i say strength of cheeses quite loosley.....i have had one or two pizzas that have hardly had a strand of cheese on them, but the majority of the time, there is plenty of toppings. Because there is alot of puree and cherry toms, it can taste quite sweet, but usually it is counterbalanced with the cheese. Also because there is quite alot of sauce, you can find that the centre of the pizza can go quite soft and almost soggy. But as long as you wolf it down you'll be fine!!!! The crusts are lovely....very crunchy and light. Not like those pizzas you get where you might break a tooth because it's like biting into a brick!!! It's a very filling pizza, and one will EASILY do two people, although i do quite often munch my way through a whole one!! ( but thats because i'm a pig!!!) It's a very nice pizza to have with some nice fresh salad (try and counterbalance some of that badness at least!!)

****Nutrition****

Okay well lets make this point, as it's a glaringly obvious one!! A pizza is hardly nutirtous is it!!! Sorry, had to get that one in there!!! Well anyway, it's not the perfect thing if your on a diet....so just how bad is this big boy?
All of these below are for 1/2 a pizza
- calories 545kcal
- sugar 4.8g
- fat 24.4g
- saturated fat 12.9g
- salt 2.2g

oh my god.....i'm going to stop eating so many!!! I have a whole one at a time!!! argh thats scary!!!!

****Allergy advice****

this pizza contanis milk, wheat and gluten. There are also traces of nut, so beware if you suffer with a nut allergy!!

****Would i recommend?****

For the price of this pizza on offer i certainly would. If you want a cheap, cheery, tasty pizza go for it. It's perfect to have a couple handy for when you can't be bothered to spend ages slaving away in the kitchen, or even if you just can't cook like myself!!! There may be cheaper pizzas available but i have found they taste no where near as nice....and lets be honest, this pizza hardly costs an arm and a leg!!!
