This is a great dessert in a pot, it is a good alternative to a yogurt. I bought it in the first place as it was something different for the kids pack lunches, now I find that I eat them more then the kids.

**What is it like**

It is a yellow ready to eat custard in a pot like a yogurt, it is of quite a thick constitency, has a sweet pleasant smell and taste delicious, very easy digested.

**packaging**

The packaging is just a simple yellow and white background with the logo of tesco in red, and in blue the words are written ready to eat custard, very easily opened with the foil top.

**Other information**

It is suitable for vegetarians, not suitble for anyone with nut allergies as the product is made in a factory that uses nut ingredients, this custard can be eaten hot or cold, if eaten cold it is best kept in the fridge, if eating hot, microwave in a 650 watt oven by removing foil lid, cover with cling film and then cook on full power for 50 seconds, stirring halfway through cooking, stir again before serving.
I like eaten the custard both ways but when eaten it hot it makes an ideal topping for a pudding.

**Nutrition and price***
based on a low fat custard:
each pot provides:
energy 132 cals
protein 4.4g
Carbohydrate 24.3g
of which sugars 18.0g
Fat 2.0g
of which saturates 1.1g
fibre 0.3g
sodium 0.1g

Each 150g pot will cost you 28p, I say good value for money don't you think?.

thanks for reading.

Tried this and it was ok, but much prefer my mums homemade custard I'm afraid. Andy.
