I love food shopping and Tesco make the experience all the better. Having worked for Tesco for 4 year I know the behind the scenes view and their service really is as good as they say it is.
Products are clearly layed out, with an excellent choice. The value range is expanding and improving on a regular basis. Food is always fresh and special offers are all over the store. It is always worth looking at the end of aisles for special offers which more often than not are every day products with real savings.
The quality of the stores and the product range varies dependant upon the location. In Worcester there are two stores. The largest has a better clothing range but nothing that compares to a decent Asda for example. I have also discovered a little store in Langport which covers the basics. Its a little like a huge Spa shop but you are still assured of good quality and service.
My most recent discovery is Yeovil Tesco, what a wonderful place. They even sell DIY and electrical goods. This really does give Asda a run for its money. There is an excellent hot food bar that sells cooked chicken and other such delites like racks of lamb and cumberland sausages, all at a good price. The store is also open 24 hours, and could seriously tempt me to quit internet shopping for good!
