I have been a customer of Tesco's for 16 years and have never though about changing supermarket till now. But just recently customer service has gone down hill at my store . I went to the customer service desk for help the other day and i got a dirty look from the lady serving and she was totally unhelpful when i asked her questions, i just felt at that point i am the customer and why should i come back again. The time before this manager who was clearly German was rude and totally unhelpful. I feel that i am never using Tesco again enough is enough and another supermarket seem a lot better now i have started using them least they are polite and helpful, Tesco need to get there act together on customer service.
I'm sorry for my low rating but you it does seem a little harsh to judge the entire brand for one persons attitude at one store. It's not like it's company policy to be rude and unhelpful; she could just have been having a really bad day with customers. Also, why does the manager being German have anything to do with it? Lissy

It might be more useful to your review to indicate why you found the customer service unhelpful i.e. did you ask a simple question and get an insufficient answer, or did the person you ask not know the answer but fail to find someone with the knowledge to help. It seems a bit extreme to judge an entire chain of shops based on one employee's bad attitude; perhaps you could say more about how you find the prices/food quality?
