Advantages great price, tasty

Disadvantages none

Spicy potato wedges

I try not to eat so many chips and potato wedges and generally only eat them once a week. My fiancé is quite keen on chips or potato wedges especially if he is not very hungry and just fancies a snack.

Product

As soon as I opened the freezer door in my local Tesco’s I could smell the spicy wedges. The wedges come in a brown packet with a picture of potatoes and a potato wedge on. The things that attracted me to these ones were the fact that on the packet it says `cooked in sunflower oil` and of course the price as they were only 59p. They also make these look attractive because on the packet it says `Delicious skin on wedges with a crispy bite`
Nutritional information

One sixth of a pack oven baked contains:

Sugar- 0.6g
Fat- 4.6g
Saturates- 0.6g
Salt- 0.7g

In a 750g bag. These are suitable for vegetarians.

My opinions

Strangely enough even though you could smell the spice in the supermarket and smell it as they were cooking they were not overly spicy when you eat them. Biting into these you can taste the crispy skin on the outside and inside they were nice and soft. I liked the smell of these but would prefer it if you could only smell them whilst cooking. The price of these are very cheap compared to Sainsbury’s where they are £1.70. I would definitely recommend these not to eat every day but every now and again is fine.
