Tesco Sugar Free Cherryade

I have seen the cherryade before while hopping in Tesco with my mum and never really thought about buying it. Up until recently I have been drinking Coke Zero and fancied a change so I thought I would try this bright red drink as it is sin free on my slimming world plan which is great. After not having it since I was a young child I was looking forward to having some but served chilled because that's it at it's best. So at a cheap price I couldn't resist.

Once I got home I thought I would try the drink it was it made a loud fizzing noise and at this moment I thought all the fizz would be lost but I couldn't be more wrong it was extremely fizzy and the taste of cherry was a much stronger taste than any other cherryade drink I have tried before. This may be because they have all contained a lot more sugar than this. To keep the drink fresh after opening I keep it in the fridge so that everytime I have some it always gives me a refreshing taste. After being opened a few more times the same amount of fizz was still there and it tastes as great as the first time I tried it.

Price

For a 2 litre bottle of Tesco Cherryade it cost 52p, which I thought is a great price for a drink with a great taste and sugar free! This price for a 2 litre fizzy drink is excellent compared to other competitors on the market considering they can be up to as much as £2.50. With the price being so low you can stock up and have more bottles for the same amount you'd pay for a top brand name.

Packaging

As I have already mentioned the drink comes in a 2 litre plastic bottle with a bright red label which contains all the ingredients and nutritional information.
As the liquid is a vibrant red colour this really appeals to the buyer as it is just bursting with cherry flavours.
On the label there is also a a picture of bubbles to make the product attract to the younger customer to emphasise the fizzyness of the drink.

Carbonated Water, Citric Acid, Fruit And Vegetable Concentrates (Carrot, Blackcurrant), Acidity Regulator (Sodium Citrate), Sweeteners (Aspartame, Acesulfame K), Preservative (Potassium Sorbate), Flavourings, Stabiliser (Carboxymethylcellulose).

0g of fat
0g of saturates

For me I don't normally understand the nutritional information as it isn't displayed in a simple form but on the bottle it is well labelled and from what I can see there is hardly any sugar and only 2 calories from a normal side cup.

What I like about the drink

I love the strong cherry taste and the refreshing feel that it gives me after I have had some. I also love knowing that what I am drinking is good for me even if it could be dying my insides bright red at least they will look nice! The drink is also good because even though there is next to no sugar in it, it still tastes amazing even better that a lot more expensive brands.

What's not so good

The drink may stain as it is a strong colour so be careful!

Other Tesco Fizzy Drinks

Tesco do many other cheap fizzy drinks such as lemonade,orangeade,limeade,dandelion and burdock, cola. These are all at the same price or cheaper.

Overall

A brilliant refreshing drink for only 52p! Which is sin free on slimming world!
