Tesco Tablets

Disadvantages: "4 in 1" action not quite true

...ago I decided to try Tesco dishwasher tablets. Tesco dishwasher tablets come in two fragrances: citrus and fresh. I tried the citrus tablets first, but found the smell a bit overpowering so I have switched to the "fresh" fragrance, which is much more subtle and actually hard to describe, other than "soapy" and slightly carbolic. The tablets come in cardboard packs of 15, 30 or 60, at a cost of £1.33, £2.45 and £4.57 respectively. This works out ...
...a big difference. The Tesco tablets inside the box come individually wrapped in plastic, with crimped edges that are reasonably easy to rip open so long as your fingers are dry (but otherwise are a nightmare). The tablets have a central blue layer sandwiched between two white layers with tiny green flecks. You simply drop the tablet in the compartment, and turn the machine on. Tescos dishwasher tablets, what can I say ? well they are compct easy to use and in my case they did not work. I agree that these tablets are cheaper than most of the other brands and with them being compact easy to use. Myself however I have found that I have now changed to a different brand. The food did not seem to wash off the items thoroughly so I might as well of done it all by hand as they had to be re-washed (this was not what I intended). ... Read review

...being short of time, bought Tesco 3 in 1 dishwasher tablets which were on special offer (buy one two for £8.00 - they usually sell for £5.99 each). To be honest I was not expecting miracles but you can imagine my surprise when I did not notice any reduction in cleaning compared to my usual Finish tablet. ...with a picture of a shiny glass and dishwashing tablet. Claim on the bottom of the box that 'cleans as well as the leading brand*'. The * represents 'in independent laboratory testing'. Have to say that these do clean as well as my usual tablet and I have a lot of dishes due to a family of four which are quite often caked in baked on food.
