Oohhh, got the keys to my new house, the place is a complete tip but hey, it's MY tip. The big move is on Sunday. Okay... "big shout out to Arcuntil42". BTW, could lazy tweens who don't bother to return rates please stop slating those who do?

Despite the fact that my son is allergic to most soap products and has to bathe in prescription bath lotion; Tesco Kids 2-in-1 Banana Shampoo is one toiletry he has consistently been able to use without any signs of discomfort or reaction.
The price has come down further and further since I started using this product and it now costs just 38p for a 100ml bottle. Although that might sound rather small for a bottle of shampoo, you need to use so little of this product on youngsters that a bottle this size can easily last for six months to a year. In fact I've just bought a new bottle having had the last one for just over a year.
With a flip-top lid it's easy to use this product one-handed (while your other tries to stop your screaming child from fleeing the bath tub). I find I only need to use a 10p sized blob to get an extremely generous lather all over my son's head. Rinsing the product out is easy too and over in a matter of seconds which is convenient for those of us with kids who despise having their hair wash. I've used the L'Oreal kids shampoo in the past and found it takes a lifetime to wash out whilst leaving too much of a conditioning residue.
The smell of this shampoo is gorgeous, just like you'd expect a banana soap product to smell like and then some besides. I suppose some people might go so far as to say it's slightly overpowering but even though I hate bananas I find this ever so appealing! They do offer Pear and Melon or Cherry scents in this range too but I opted for Banana scented because this one's specially formulated for fine and fly away hair which my son very much has.
Being a 2 in 1 shampoo and conditioner, you won't need to go in for a second application which is again, handy for those of us with children opposed to having their hair washed. The results are pretty impressive for a 2 in 1 and I'm especially pleased to note that even my son's super fine hair is weighted down by this product without appearing remotely greasy. In fact it cleans so well that I only need to wash my son's hair once a week and it never looks greasy in between.
Good review, I'm not in need of kids shampoo just yet

Good review. I usually find these 2 in 1 shampoos useless for the conditioner part on my daughters long hair though.

I buy the Cherry Crush one and its great and smells delicious too. Youre right it is better than the Loreal one. Ive even used this on my own hair when ive ran out of my herbal essences and it leaves y hair nice and shiny and smelling delicious. I dont think i would buy the banana one because i hate the smell of bananas lol :O)
