Tesco Value Dishwasher Tablets

Up until recently I had never ever used a dishwasher. I owned one once, never ever used it and felt it was pointless lol. I used to have to wash items up a bit before bunging them in said dishwasher so couldn't see the point in bothering with it. We have a dishwasher in our kitchen, though I only tend to use it once or twice a week when we have people around or if I am in a rush and have very little time to get the washing up done. As I don’t use it on a regular basis, I don’t see the point in purchasing expensive brands of dishwasher tablets such as Finish so I just purchase the bog standard Tesco value ones. I am not brand loyal and tend to buy whichever dishwasher tablets are on offer. I am, however guilty of buying branded dishwasher tablets as opposed to the stores own label as I have always assumed branded was best! Just proves that those clever adverts have sucked me in! However a few days ago I noticed my local Tesco had several cleaning products heavily reduced, including Tesco own everyday value dishwasher tablets, reduced to just 83p for a box of 30 tablets. I seem to remember some while back that these were recommended by ‘Which’ magazine as being a good buy, not a Best Buy, but just a good buy. So I bought a pack to try them out. That was about 4 years ago, and I still use them to this day on every wash in my dishwasher. The first thing about them is that they are cheap, about £1.67 for 30 washes which works out just under 6p (actually 5.6p) per wash, compared to between 15 - 20p a wash for the more ‘popular’ hyped brands that you can also freely get from the supermarkets. I have to say that when I moved into my new flat and found the dishwasher in the kitchen I couldn't be more excited. The thought of never washing up again made me so happy! This excitement was shortlived though, I then had to find a dishwasher tablet that was actually going to work at a reasonable price.
