...biscuits of any kind. The Tesco value rich tea are an ok biscuit a certainly not much different to any other rich tea biscuit.

I am putting 7 of these biscuits on a plate. You will know why in a minute. I look at them they are flat and round, I guesstimate about 2 inches in diameter. They are a light golden brown in colour and have a few holes pricked in them.

I am sorry I am tempted to eat one It is crisp as I said ... more

Value for Money

For the rich?

Advantages: taste, price
Disadvantages: packaging

...bought a packet from the Tesco Value range last week, and when there was still about half a packet left I reached for them in the cupboard and the whole lot fell onto the floor, broken in tiny little pieces. Oh great! They were so delicious, so tasty... You can recognise the Tesco Value rich teas as they come in a white and blue packet, as do the rest of their range. On the front there is an image of the pictures, to lure you closer if nothing else! ...
...tag to match! I paid just 30p for my packet of biscuits, which contained around fifteen-eighteen, which was a really reasonable price! I paid for them and off I went. Now I was used to McVities rich teas so I didn't know what to expect with these. I sat down with three by my side, accompanied by a cup of tea. The biscuits looked quite plain and pasty, though for a rich tea I wasn't expecting an image fit for a Queen! Giving them a sniff, there wasn't ...

You will be a little richer if you enjoy these with your tea!

Advantages: Great taste, not too calorific, taste as good as the leading brand.
Disadvantages: None

...get rid of the tacky Tesco Value packaging and place these in your biscuit jar nobody will be aware that these aren't the real deal, well, the kids certainly won't! I will be rating this product 5/5 as I can't find a single thing to fault about them, the taste is great, they dunk well and there is minimal breakages (in my experience at least). I would definitely recommend these products in place of your normal branded version. ...

Rich biscuit with your tea sir

Advantages: Good with a cup of tea
Disadvantages: 36 calories

200g of Rich tea biscuits from Tesco in a bright blue wrapper cost 38p that?s pretty good. Not too many calories in a single biscuit there are 36. I bought some of these the other day and ate one or two with a cup of tea. These are not the most exciting biscuit they are plain and boring round with little pin prick in them a hard crisp biscuit , don?t leave the biscuit tin lid off or they will go soggy. One advantage is that they dunk into the tea without disappearing into a mush at the bottom In comparison to other makes of rich tea biscuit these are ok, middling not out of this world but not dire either. They taste plain slightly buttery. They are not much if any better than the value rich tea biscuit from Tescos. The value cost 25p for 300g. . I shall use these biscuits when the grandchildren come to visit. They ...

Sainsbury's rich tea biscuits Would you like a biscuit with your cup of tea? I was offered a Sainsbury rich tea biscuit at work the other day they were from the class biscuit tin. Sainsbury have several varieties of rich tea biscuit, basic at 23p a 300g pack 8p per 100g. Tesco value are exactly the same price Sainsbury's rich tea biscuit 200g pack 35p that's 18p per 100g. The mc vities equivalent is 56p per 300g pack 19p per 100g Then you have rich teas fingers 34p per 250g pack that's 14p per 100g. If you want the less fat biscuit the be good to yourself rich tea is 56p for 400g pack 14p per 100g. However if you like a chocolate rich tea biscuit the 300g pack cost 70p that's 23p per 100g. The equivalent Cadbury rich tea is £1.09p. So as you can see there is a variety of Sainsbury rich tea biscuits, the ones we ...
