Advantages The price

Disadvantages The taste

While shopping in my local Tesco I came across this sugar free Coke and thought that I would give it a try seen as it was much more cheaper than other leading brands. In my house we are a big fan of fizzy drink and that seems to be all we drink so for 17p I thought that this would be a good idea as it is saving money as well as being the answer to our love for fizzy drinks.
For a 2 litre bottle of the drink it cost only 17p which is an amazing price for any fizzy drink on the market. A great thing about this is that you can spend even more on the product by getting different flavours for a similar price.
The product comes in a tall plastic bottle with a label around it. On the label it is pretty basic, with basic colours and isn't really bright. The white label has a royal blue band around it and has the image of a glass of coke with ice in it. This is their effort to try and brighten up a pretty boring looking product. Everything on the label is simple the ingredients and nutritional information is displayed simply on there too.
In a 250ml glass it contains:
2 calories,0.4g of sugar, 0 fat traces,0 saturates traces,0 salt traces
The drink also doesn't contain any artificial colours or flavourings which I guess is good for the health as well as it being low calorie.
Ingredients: Carbonated Water,Barley Malt Extract , Fruit And Vegetable Concentrates (Apple, Carrot, Hibiscus) ,Phosphoric Acid , Flavourings (including Caffeine) , Sweetener (Aspartame) , Preservative (Potassium Sorbate), Acidity Regulator (Sodium Citrate).
For me what I like about the fizzy drink is the price at 17 p it can't get much cheaper than that otherwise they would be giving it away for nothing. I also like that it is low in calories and low in sugar. It is always nice to know that something your having isn't having much effect on your health like most fizzy drinks on the market. It also has its other uses such as being a good cleaning product for sinks and toilets, I found that it makes them look like new.
However, on the whole I don't like the taste of the product you can tell that it is cheap and you can tell that is cheap and sugar free when you try it. The drink tastes really flat like it has been opened for sometime even though it was the first time I had opened the bottle. It is very very basic but what do expect for 17p.
I don't think I will be buying this product any time in a hurry even though it is so cheap. It's good for your health but it isn't good for my taste buds!
