Brushing my bathroom to keep its white 'teeth' clean and shiny!

Advantages Strong bristles, great price, last for several rigorous cleaning sessions before looking damaged.
Disadvantages 50% price increase this year already.
I have quite a rigorous cleaning regime when it comes to my home but sometimes when illness strikes, which seems to be several times a year for me, I have a period of a few weeks where things slip and it is only the essentials that get done (toilet cleaning, washing and washing up etc). I actually buy these value toothbrushes as part of my selection of products for cleaning my home. Until a few months ago these were just 10p for a packet of 2 but now the price has increased 50% to 20p. Obviously this is still a very low price but is a huge increase for any product and I only still buy these because they are still incredibly cheap and I can't see anything cheaper elsewhere at present either.
The packaging around these toothbrushes is nothing special. It is just a plastic wrapper with the Tesco value (currently converting to everyday value) logo and information on it. I cut the top off with scissors and leave the spare toothbrush in the packaging with my cleaning supplies until I need it. The packaging is a good size for the products within and obviously keeps it relatively clean and germ free until I want to use it (once opened). The packaging and the products both accurately reflect the price paid and in general the quality is fine but nothing special. These toothbrushes are white with white bristles on them. I'm not fussed about the colour really but the white bristles allow me to see quicker when the bristles are dirty and lets me know when I need to discard the toothbrush too. I would say that the bristles are a medium-firm as recently when I ran out of toothbrush heads for my electric toothbrush I used one temporarily until the replacements arrived in the post, a clean fresh one of course. I found it cleaned my teeth well and it was strong and none of the bristles fell off in my mouth over the few days that I was using it for.
I mainly use these toothbrushes for cleaning around my bathroom and kitchen sink taps. We have a combination tap in the bathroom and in the kitchen which has one base and so there is quite a lot of limescale that builds up underneath this, particularly because of our hard water. I like to use a toothbrush to scrub these taps once a week, sometimes less often, after I've done a deep clean of the bathroom. I find that if I spray my bathroom cleaner around the bottom and then use one of these toothbrushes that I am able to lift any limescale with ease and keep my taps looking as good as they day we moved in to our brand new home!In all I would say that these are definitely worth every penny. The price is fantastic and the quality is pretty darn good considering these work out at just 10p each!
