"Ideal Wooden Sticks For A Cheap Price"

It is like these wooden sticks that i keep to tend in the cupboard for any use for cooking, skewers, pushing reset buttons etc. They keep forever and obviously don't have a sell by date so why not keep them in the cupboard? I use these quite alot and they are really cheap! You can buy these wooden sticks from almost anywhere but i personally bought these from Tesco as that is where i usually go shopping. I was really happy with these wooden sticks, and would definitely buy them again. I will put my review into sections to make it easier to read.

Are these wooden sticks durable?

I have found that these wooden sticks to tend to be very durable when using them with most things. They have a pointed end either side which doesn't blunt and therefore you can use it to stab into food for quite a long time. They do not tend to snap especially when using them for meat which surprised me because i felt they might snap when faced against something strong like that. If dipped into water before adding little pieces of meat they won't burn on the barbeque. Despite the odd one snapping they barely ever snap so they are therefore very durable. Overall i feel that these wooden sticks are very durable which is fantastic.

Where can you buy them?

As i said in the introduction, these i bought from Tesco for 40p, each pack contains around 100 sticks so they are well worth their money. You can buy these in most stores as well including ASDA, Wilkinsons, etc. They mostly come in the same packages, sizes and prices so if a tesco is not in your area you can guarantee to get them from there. If you are looking for them in your Tesco they are around either the picnic products or around the foil and clingfilm section. Overall there available almost anywhere and very cheap.

What do they look like?

The sticks are thin wooden sticks with a sharp point either end. They stack upright well in their packaging. They are around 7cm long which is a ideal length to put on small fruit, cake, and meat pieces for barbeques and party's and are more famously used for 'cocktail' sausages.

Packaging;

The packaging of these cocktail sticks is really good and efficient to use. They come in a plastic cuboid tube which can be stood almost anywhere. I personally just keep it in the cupboard. The wooden sticks keep in the plastic tube really good and it works to keep the wooden sticks together efficiently. The packaging doesn't break so it's fantastic.

What can i use these for?
  • Barbeques/Party's - these are great for holding small pieces of food such as meat, cake and fruit pieces. Especially for fruit when dipping into chocolate. They can be barbequed if dipped into water without severly burning. These are great for cocktail sausages too!
  • Reset Button's - Sounds silly but i feel these are great for clicking reset buttons on phones etc, which you can't usually press without something thinner and these are great for that!
  • Cleaning - I sometimes use these to get into very small pieces especially in the bathroom around the tiles etc.

Overall;

Overall i think that these wooden sticks are fantastic and i would definitely buy them again. They are very cheap (40p for around 100 sticks) and are also widely available from almost any grocery store. They are good quality and last for a very long time so you can store them easily. They are durable and strong. Thanks for reading!
