    Advantages Advantages High beef content.

Disadvantages Disadvantages High fat content - smoke filled kitchen.

Tesco Finest Gourmet Aberdeen Angus Beef Burgers As a family we like the odd beef burger from time to time, but try to stay away from the fast food places. I decided to give these a try - the packet said 94% beef, which seemed good. I also thought that it would be a quick and easy tea. ***The Product*** Tesco had a massive range of burgers when I went in, some with Jalapeno peppers and shallots etc, but I just wanted a plain good quality burger. They come in a pack of two, in a black plastic packet, with usual silver packaging denoting 'finest'. The burgers looked very thick and were a dark ... more

Advantages Advantages high meat content, taste is pretty good

Disadvantages Disadvantages gristly meat makes this a no no for me, price is quite high

I don't like my burgers cheap, the beef - and this review is about Tesco Finest Beef burgers rather than any other sort of meat - needs to be good quality. Whilst i will occasionally give in and get a MacDonalds, it doesn't compare with a good cut of Aberdeen Angus. I'm a student at Warwick University, and thus the only major supermarket near my is a Tesco. Disadvantages Disadvantages perhaps one isn't enough

Tonights dinner was Tesco's Finest Burgers with chips and beans. Very healthy and low fat...i know! Oh Who Cares? Now Im not sure if you know this but i am one of burgers biggest fans. Theres nothing i love more than a big whopper burger from burger king or a double cheeseburger or big mac from McDonalds. But tonight was no night for fast food, tonight it was a night for some good old tesco's nosh! It was my turn to make tea, and i was quite happy to discover TESCOS FINEST ABERDEEN ANGUS BURGERS, sitting there waiting to be cooked. Appearence The burgers come in a packaging of 2. It is a ... more

Advantages Advantages Pleasant Taste, Good Texture.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Overpriced, you've got to go to a supermarket to buy them, a bit small

Well I was out of the blue invited to a barbecue a few nights ago, and to be polite I always bring a bottle of wine and some food along. I had nothing from the butchers I could spare in the fridge or freezer so I decided to pop into my local tescos supermarket. From my experience of supermarket meat I decided to buy some burgers, something which doesn't suffer too much from poor meat quality. I was thinking of buying mince to make my own burgers but I had a half hour time window so I located the burger section and picked up 8 of these. Now they were expensive, more expensive that my butchers ... more
