Advantages: Price. Performs as well as some market leaders. Disadvantages: An Own brand, which may deter some people.
...When I first noticed this Tesco own 'Value' brand, I actually laughed...I laughed at the 'weenie' price of 33p, and how anybody could believe it would actually work??? Still, at that price I wasn't about to pass it up.

Like many other people, I find housework one big 'con'. No sooner done than you're back to square one in the blink of an eye. Next to ironing, my least favourite chore is polishing!
If I can get away with just swiping the duster across everything, I will. But special occasions, like birthdays or Christmas, unfortunately require a little more effort, and putting off the inevitable is suddenly not an option. Up until a year ago I'd always used Mr. Sheen. Adverts would depict a little man in an aeroplane, 'swooooshing' round your living room, making light of a ½" thick layer of dust! I don't think my housekeeping's ever been that far behind, but still; the thought was appealing to say the least. However, there's no invention/gadget to the best of my knowledge available yet, that makes this arduous task any pleasanter. You can pay top money for the best furniture spray, and still it takes the same amount of time and effort. So being dis-illusioned, I set about finding a cheaper alternative if nothing else.
I've lost count of how many other cheap furniture sprays I've experimented with. They would either do the job, but the smell would be sweet and flowery and whiff decidedly 'off' after a few hours, or worse still, the fragrance would be tolerable, but the spray itself would leave more smears and smudges than you started with!

The can also states that this product does not contain CFC's. It has NOT been tested on animals, and the Tescos guarantee of quality and refund if necessary, are firmly intact. (Should you not get your 33p's worth!)
* Performance and Usage*
Removing the white plastic lid and depressing the spray button I set about 'dust busting'!
At no point during this 'test-polish' and thereafter did I use any more than I would have with a higher priced brand.
Before it's maiden performance, I couldn't help wondering where they'd skimped, in order to make it so cheap? Must be the smell, I thought. To my delight my nostrils did not detect anything offending. In fact it smelt almost identical to Mr. Sheen 'Original', definitely, chemical, but light and 'spring like' with a fresh soapy edge. In comparison to many, I even found it preferable! It didn't fade to a dead-flower 'pong' afterwards either.
The fine mist spray is delivered easily, and continuously has been, right through to the end of the can. I need apply no more effort in appliance or removal of the polish than with pricier products, and the results are similar too. Polished surfaces on such items as tables, chairs, and picture frames gleam in its wake, and judging by the black muck collected on the duster I use, it lifts the dirt and dust clean away. The longevity of the shine easily matches that of a 'superior' brand product, and I notice no earlier return of the dust in comparison either. So therefore I determine that it's anti-static ability must be fairly good.
Although this product has been 'formulated to enhance and protect wood', I couldn't resist the urge, as I had duster in hand, to also give the 'hi-fi' covers and casings, plus some china ornaments a wipe. These came up quite satisfactorily too.
I wouldn't use it again on mirrors as smears and smudges were evident, but then I usually use a different cleaner for glass and mirrors anyway.
My husband obviously approves of its capabilities as he irritatingly poaches it occasionally for use on the dashboard and fittings of his car!
**Final Words**
My general findings after a whole years usage of this polish are as follows:
Sparkle Rating = Very High Ease of 'wiping-off' Rating = Very Good Lasting Effect Rating = Just as good as market leader's. Quality of Fragrance = More than satisfactory.
I've noted no detrimental effects to any furniture or fittings I have applied this polish too. In fact the complete opposite applies, in that they come up a treat.
So it appears that the only drawback to this polish is the packaging possibly? Personally it doesn't offend me, and I can live with that. If polishing has to be a permanent fixture in the whole 'con' of housework, then with this particular furniture polish, at least you don't have to pay 'through the nose,' (in any sense) for a perfectly adequate product.
It wiped the doubting smirk off my face, that's for sure!
Excellent value for money, and highly recommended!
Advantages: Cheap, pleasant fragrance, efficient cleaning Disadvantages: None that I can think of

Being a fan of Tesco value I will try just about anything once and being the cheapest range of products on offer in the store, if they don’t please, then you’ve really not lost anything, but on the other hand you could make a great discovery and reduce the cost of various daily life items, leaving the extra pennies free to treat yourself.
We all have our favourite fragrances in products (such as fabric conditioners) and have a tendency ...

Advantages: It does the job just as well as more expensive ones Disadvantages: none
...polish so when I discovered Tesco Value Furniture Polish I thought I just give it ago and it only costs around 33p which I would say amazing.
So off I went with the polish in one hand and the duster in the other and started to use it on my Dining room table. It is so easy to use and so I sprayed a little on the table and I soon found that it came up with a lovely shine and the dust just disappeared.
I found the smell not as strong and overpowering ... ...bonus for me as often I find I can get knocked out the the fragrances of many other furniture polishes
The design of the aerosal is the usual colour scheme of blue, red and white and it holds 330ml.
There are warning notice on the can saying this product is very flammable so care should be taken in using this product which I think would be on other brands of furniture polish.
On the can there are four othe languages with instructions so that is ...

Advantages: Great for polishing, does the job, great price. Disadvantages: Not the strongest scent.
...lid and has the standard Tesco Value logo on it which shows that this is the bottom end of the price range (well, normally!). I used to be a brand snob but recently more and more people I know are beginning to downgrade their products and buy the cheaper priced products. To use this aerosol you simply just remove the lid and spray the aerosol 20-30cm away from the surface that you want to polish. I generally spray the polish on to a duster or similar ... ...than leaving lots of residue all over my tables or computer desk. The product is not overly scented but considering it is 30p it has a very good scent. I don't mind if my house doesn't smell like I've just finished polishing, as long as it looks good that is just fine for me. I would definitely recommend giving this product a try. As with all products like this I would advise giving the instructions a read beforehand so that you can be certain about ...
