The main base for much of your racing is the island of Oahu in Hawai, you can either drive around and enjoy the sites or you can compete in various races and tasks of which can be found from your map, you start out having to buy a car and a house, and then you can go on to win races which earns you money, you can also earn coupouns by driving the residents of the island to various places, coupons then can be exchanged for clothes, i think the clothes are an excelent part of this game, as there are many different combinations you can mess around with, as mentioned before, as you go through the game more races can be locked and features can be unlocked
==== Online play ==========The main selling point in TDU is that if you are connected to Xbox Live as you are playing the game you can encounter any other TDU user online within the island of Oahu, users who are within a close distant to you can be followed and then if you wish to you can flash your lights at them to challenge them to a race, and even put a wager of your money on who will win. One of the bad points of this feature in my opinion is that it is sometimes so easy to accidentally crash into a player car, one time this resulted in my Xbox Live reputation going down as the user thought i was being malicious. But other than that small complaint the online play is a very fun aspect of the game.
As well as the online play a number of cars are also available to download through Xbox Live including: Nissan Skyline GTR R34, Chevorlet Corvette C1, Lexus IS 360 plus many more
=== Graphics =========While TDU doesn't exactly push the limits of graphical excelence on the Xbox 360 the games graphics are very decent, the island of Oahu was faithfully realised with satelite imaging, and is meant to be an almost real life copy of the actual island, the various terrains in TDU also add a nice touch to the graphics and ensures the game doesn't become boring to look at, at different points you will be racing past rainforests, to mountains and close to sandy beaches.
The cars themselves look very nice, the game features many cars available to buy with your ingame money from the many dealerships around the island, and the cars are good graphically.
=== Sound/audio =========This is one aspect in my opinion that lets the game down in my opinion, the little voice acting in the game seems awkwardly acted, and apparently the game has a soundtrack including artists such as Queens Of The Stone Age and Metric but i can't even remember hearing them ==== Lastability ==========
With the various races and missions to be done TDU will keep you busy for at least a month, and that's not counting the various clothes and motorbikes and cars you can also collect as well once you have the money, and the multiplayer will bring you back for more if you ever get sick of the single player aspects of the game.

Test Drive Unlimited is a driving game published by Atari for the Xbox 360 console. I first played the game because my Xbox 360 came with the demo and I played it and really enjoyed it. I loved the cop chases and the lovely island but there were some things I did not like as well. The things I liked: I liked the fact the game had lots of licensed cars (over 100) which look great and really realistic. These licensed cars come from brands like Audi, ... ...Mc-Laren, Mercedes, Nissan, Volkswagen and many more! The game also includes bikes which is a big plus for me because if you start getting bored driving your car around the island you can pop on a bike and do lots of wheelies! You can also download new cars through Xbox Live which adds even more fun to the game! I also liked the island which you drive around and is based upon the beautiful Hawaiian island of Oahu. Advantages: Large environment, real cars. Disadvantages: Boring, cardboard graphics, lots of aimless driving.
...a fan of the early Test Drive Games on previous computer systems and liked the idea of a free roaming map with mission type races and other challenges but somehow Test Drive Unlimited doesn't have quite the apeal I hoped for.
First off the look of the game; I know it was released some time ago but I'm not convinced its actually neg gen quality. The trees, cars and houses look boxy and basic, in fact you could say they look like something out of ... ...in the same vein as Test Drive Unlimited with added excitement).
Controls are the norm with a nice sat nav style guidance system although it can give you short warning of turnings sometimes. Particularly annoying in the middle of a tight to the second mission. Cut scenes are ok with cheesy characters and story lines.
So all in all this game offers players the opportunity to drive real cars aroung a realistic island doing realish missions and races. ...

...For Speed, I immediately purchased Test Drive Unlimited upon it's release.
One of the first things that attracted me to the game was the wide choice of cars and manufacturers, as well as the graphics of the game. The sounds too - there are some games out there where most of the cars sound the same, this is different. The sounds are different for each car, which adds a great atmosphere when racing.
When you first start the game, you can select from ... ...of character has no effect on the game, and is simply there to offer you a choice of what you want to look like!
The next step is to rent a car. You have a choice of around 5 different rental cars to choose from, and have two choices of how long you would like to rent the car for.
With your hire car at your disposal, your first task is to go and buy yourself a house. Different size properties are available, and the main thing to look out for is ...

For me this game was the only game I played for a long time. The ability to roam 1000 miles of open road and even more off road areas is so much fun.
GAMEPLAY
When you first start the main game you are instructed to drive to different shops so that you can have a car and a house to start the game. Once this is over though, you can start to enjoy the vast expanse that is the island of Oahu. The island has 1000 miles of open road where you can meet ... ...them to a race. Other than races you can drive a characters car to a designated spot and get paid for it, or pick up a hitchhiker and take them to where they want to go. Another addition is bikes. The bikes could have better handling physics and there could be more of them but the bikes that are there is a good selection.
GRAPHICS/SOUND
The graphics are very good. When you are in the garage, you can look around your cars and the quality is outstanding. ...

In this version of test drive unlimited you have many Licensed cars in which you can do some customization, you can buy properties so that you can keep your cars, then you can customise your driver & race on the entire Island. As in this its a long race to run , you can alwayd try to find out your own shortcuts . In this there are many races, Special Events & timae trials. You have towin early races to win supercars, and once you are doing ... ...see other players from arond whn you are inXBOX live. The cars section in which you buy new car is good, you buy new cars visiting Car dealers around the island, you have only few garages in the start the rest you have to find yourself. Your car can be customised by your fav color, you can also tune up your car with booster kit. In start the game is slow but once you make some properties and have enough cars you really enjoy the game by this time.

First hearing about the new xbox360 coming out, i was utterly stunned at how microsoft could improve and produce a new xbox, better than the previous model they put on our shelves.
