emphasis is placed on the SATs tests that take place towards the end of Year 6 and that too much anxiety is created by them, but aside from this a child who is struggling may well need some extra help and practice outside of school in order to be more confident before entering secondary school. This workbook certainly provides such practice, and could also be useful for a more able child aged 9-10 who perhaps is not being stretched enough at school. In either case, a parent with a basic knowledge of maths could find Maths Made Easy very useful if they wish to help their child at home.
A similar workbook is available for the second part of the syllabus, and there are also separate books in the series focusing on times tables and decimals.

When I started to drive, I was so nervous about the practical side of it I completely forgot about the Theory test that all learner drivers have to take nowadays. When it dawned on me, I decided to ask my brother (who had passed a couple of years ago) which DVD package he used to practice with, as I remember he found it so useful. Being the lovely guy that he is, he went out and bought me the latest edition of it as a present bless him. I am actually writing a review on the 2008/2009 DVD although it will have the same features as the previous version.
When I first started my driving lessons I thought it would be wise to invest in some kind of guide like this as it could cut down on lessons, at £18 an hour any extra knowledge would certainly help!
So off I headed to amazon, I was spoilt for choice but this seemed to be one of the more popular discs and seemed to be really helpful so I thought I'd give it a try.
I bought it for around £7.80 from new, although prices change all the time and you may even be able to get it cheaper than that, especially if you bought a pre owned copy.
The disc is divided in to three sections. Theory test, Hazard Perception test and Practical test.
