Passing Your Driving Test

Advantages: Rule the road
Disadvantages: Stuck with the green card

Hello to all reading this. My name is Amjad I am 22 years old & live in West London. I would like to share some tips on how to pass your driving test. Also please read other members views as everyone shares there own advice which may be of use to you. Well lets get started. First of all you need to be 17 & have a provisional license to start, don't delay prices are rising I got mine in 2004 cost £35 now £50+ you can pick one up at your local post office. The theory test is one that I think we kinda get a bit paranoid & nervous. So don't be afraid to give one a shot even if you fail no worries I actually passed on my second attempt & consider my self unlucky. Well to pass , you are required to pass both parts of the test. First the multiple choice questions otherwise known as the theory score required 43 out of 50 & secondly hazard ...

Review of Member advice on Passing your Practical Driving Test

Passing your driving test!

Advantages: Freedom! The end of all those lessons, where to go now..!?
Disadvantages: Very expensive, nerve wracking, and frustrating!

Passing your test! ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ When I first started taking my driving lessons I actually thought very little about the actual test itself and just carried on as normal. I sort of knew I was good enough to pass and had a feeling I?d pass first time? Yep, this feeling was wrong, but there you go. First things first, to start learning to drive you first need to get a provisional license, which now comes in the form of a little green card with ?DVLA? stamped all over it in clear writing. The theory test ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ The theory test is something you should try to get out of the way as soon as you possibly can, in my opinion, so you can focus on your actual practical driving skills. A lot of the theory will make more sense once you have a bit more sense of the roads, for example roundabouts and junctions, so starting ...

Review of Member advice on Passing your Practical Driving Test

My A-Z of passing your Practical Driving Test

Advantages: Freedom and independence
Disadvantages: Cost, nerves

As many of you know, I passed my driving test recently so I would like to share my experience to help others to pass theirs. I have decided to give the advice as an A-Z; I hope it helps you or someone you know :-) ~ The Driving test - what to expect on the day ~ So you've been learning to drive for a while now and your instructor says you are ready for your test. But what does this involve? You will need to book a double lesson with your instructor, the first of which will be a lesson; the second will be the test with an examiner. When you arrive at the test centre you will sit in the waiting area until the examiner comes out and calls your name. When they do, you will have to sign a green form to say that the vehicle you will be driving is insured and that you are a permanent resident of the UK. You will then have to ...
