... In our house mom and dad live on the ground floor and Dave and I live on the top two floors so we each have our own kitchen – bear with me this is relevant, honestly! Mom keeps camomile tea bags in her kitchen for when I have a cuppa downstairs and as she had run out she decided to treat me ... Read review

...different which is where the Tetley Green Tea with Lemon comes in.
I wasn’t really looking forward to trying it as I had already tried green tea from another manufacturer and wasn’t too keen, but it was kind of her to think of me and so I gave it a go with a smile!

Green is Good! Review ofTetley Green Tea with Lemonby
Caru
Advantages: Rich in Anti-oxidants, convenient Disadvantages: Can be weak, not a flavour to suit everyone
...I saw the neatly packaged Tetley Green Tea with Lemon. The packaging looked appealing and bright, and being as it was advertised as a 'New' product, I thought I would bite the bullet and give it a go.
From my supermarket, it cost 99p which I thought was fairly reasonable for 25 tea bags. On getting home, tired from pushing an unmanageable troley around a crowded shop, the first thing I did was put the kettle on. On putting the teabag into the cup, ... ...well with chocolate biscuits!
Tetley Green Tea with Lemon is not the sort of drink for winter evenings, it is not the hug in a mug that you get from a cup of steaming hot PG Tips. However, I have found it to be a worthy alternative, and one that I have incorporated into my daily diet. It is rich in anti-oxidants and contains no artificial flavourings - the only ingredients are simply Green Tea and Lemon Peel.
You do have the option to add honey ...

Advantages: Good way to get benefits of green tea, refreshing Disadvantages: Needs extra lemon for a better flavour
...Morrisons).
On the packaging, Tetley claim “We have combined a light delicate green tea with the zesty freshness of lemons, to create a blend that will make you sparkle.” Let’s give it a try….
Green tea is something of an acquired taste and one that I can’t claim to have fully acquired. I persevere because I believe it is good for me and I usually try to mask the slightly pungent natural taste of green tea by drinking one of the green tea with ... ...I hadn’t tried.
The dry teabag has only the slightest whiff of conventional tea but a killer punch of zesty lemon. In fact, I found this hit quite overpowering. I didn’t get even a hint of green tea aroma.
Pouring on the hot water released a more gentle lemon aroma and only a slight smell of green tea. The instructions say you should leave the bag to steep for one minute and this seems right for several reasons. First and most important, if you ...

Wakey, wakey! Review ofTetley Green Tea with Lemonby
Stompie
Advantages: Taste, smell, possible health benefits Disadvantages: Pack size a bit small
...favourite has to be the Tetley Green Tea with Lemon.
It comes in an attractive pale green tub with a darker green lid containing 25 round teabags. This costs about 99p or thereabouts and is widely available in larger supermarkets. As yet I haven't seen any larger packs which is a pity as 25 bags is quite a small amount if you drink even 3 or 4 cups a day. The ingredients listed are 92% Green Tea and 1% Lemon Peel. The other 7% is "Flavouring". I ... ...drink this tea quite weak - I add hot (not quite boiling) water, stir and take the teabag out; if I leave it for a minute as the directions on the pack suggest, I find it becomes a bit bitter and unpleasant. I don't add any sweetner, but my daughter enjoys it with a little honey.
I find the flavour quite delicate, with a good balance between the tea and lemon, neither is overpowering. It's very refreshing, and I think it would be nice with ice on ...

Advantages: great for body &mind Disadvantages: none
...called "New " range by tetley ,to tempt my taste buds.
It comes in a dinky canister containing 25bags (50g) and has a picture of green tea leaves and half a lemon ,with a pale lime green background with chinese or japaneese symbols.
I bought it in tesco for 0.99 but it may be slightly more expensive in smaller retail outlets.
I dashed home ,coughing & spluterring ( recovering from flu),flipped open the green plastic lid ,ripped open the aluminium ... ...smelt fresh and lemony, poured on the hot water and left the teabag for about 5 mins.
I find this tea very uplifting ,it is very pale green in colour(darker if left in longer)and lemon makes it sweet ,with no after taste , which you often get with green tea.
I was impressed ,I would add to my fav list.
I would however like to know what the "flavourings" were listed in the ingredients.
I leave the tea bag in ,as I like really strong tea but if ...
