This is the question to every body who has owned an original game boy; Remember Tetris? If you don't, you probably got your GB in portugal of some shady geezer who was also selling mobile phones for £5 at the same time.

For all of you simpletons out in this big wide cyber-world called the internet who don't know what this masterpeice of a game is all about, I shall explain.

~ What is it? ~

You are given different shapes which you can rotate and move across while they are dropping to the bottom of the screen. You have got to make a full line, with no gaps, of the shapes for that line to disappear and the line above it to drop down, leaving you with more space for new shapes.

The more lines you get, the faster the shapes fall down, thus, less time to position and rotate them. 0 is the slowest level and the highest you can get it is nine, but it still gets faster. You can start at levels 0 - 9. The higher you start, the more points you will get for a line.

~ Graphics ~

This game has little detail, poor quality graphics, but if tetris would've had top of the line graphics, it would of all been wasted. It just simply doesn't need them, due to its addictive factor.

~ Gameplay ~

I have just got tetris from swapit shop on one of them 32 in 1 things that you get while you are abroad. It is on a Gameboy advance size cartridge, but it is full of Game boy games. I am actually suprised that I have manage to pull my self away from my GBA (I have no tim to sspare now. I am either on the net or playing tetris or Tony Hawks Pro Skater 3 on my GBA) and done this review.

Tetris is the most addictive game ever made, no questions asked. Even 10 - 15 years since it was first released and took the world by storm, it is still awesomly playable. In this age of life-like games and the importantness of attention to detail, we need another game like tetris to come out on the market and stir it up.

Be honest. In the last few years, name a game of which you have known how to play as soon as you turned it on and you have had your eyeballs glued to the screen since? I can only name one, premier manager '98 (I used to be a management game freak).

Tetris fits that description perfectly. You don't need no instruction with it. It iis just your primal instincts to know how to play this game. It's logo should be the one from the game 'othello' 1 minute to learn, a lifetime to master.

~ Music ~

The music for this game is probably the best I have ever heard on a GB game. It is not exactly catchy (I was playing on it 5 minutes ago and I can't remember now!) but it catches the mood of the game perfectly; upbeat and care free.

~ Where can I get this game ~

You will probably be able to get it off of somewhere like e-bay for a couple of quid or on one of the swap sites. You can download a few tetris style game from download.com. Just copy and paste the links below into your browser and get the one you want.

There was just a few of the games that you can get for FREE from the net. It doesn't match up to it being on the small screen, but it still is cool for free.

Overall:

Tetris is a super cool game full of wits and keeping your cool. It is a bit like chess. You have got to think a head and be ready for your next move.

This has been my first review in ages so don't be harsh!
