Advantages ease of use, durability, accessories, variety

the TI-84 plus graphing calculator has several advantages but however has several flaws. Starting with advantages, the calculator provides nearly all the different buttons you need ranging from apps to logs to graphs to trig to programs and of coarse simple math including addition, multiplying, ect. You can write notes on it, download games or applications and of coarse do math. Another advantage is that it's virtually indestructible. It will accumulate scratches over time by dropping it but it will continue to work like new. I especially enjoy the overall easiness it is to use. I felt like I was a master at using it within a couple of hours of using it. In my opinion, the biggest flaw is the sheer size of the thing. The dimensions are roughly 3 1/2 by 7 1/2 inches making it hard to carry around. Another flaw however not so big is that the size of the screen is only 2 1/2 by 1 3/4 making the screen less than 1/4 of the entire calculator which you will eventually get used to. The last flaw is that these things cost around a $100! They aren't cheap but as long as your buying a graphing calculator the quality doesn't get much better than this.
