    As a real bookworm myself, I’ve tried to pass on my love of the written word to 20 month old Freddy and as well as toys have bought him many books for birthdays, Christmas or no real at all. One of the books I bought for Freddy as a stocking filler last Christmas is “That’s Not My Penguin”, a touchy-feely board book written by Fiona Watt, illustrated by Rachel Wells and published by Usborne.     Advantages Advantages Great introduction to textures, and introduction to books in general

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Steep at full price, a little boring for parents after a while

    My son got this book as a christmas present quite a few years ago, when he was only a month old. He now has quite a few of this style of book and has really enjoyed them all. That's not my penguin, is one in a huge range of Usborne 'That's not my' books, by Fiona Watt, illustrated by Rachel Wells. These books are touchy feely books, aimed at very young children. The books in the range cover a range of things, from toys, animals, vehicles and fantasy charcters. The books all follow the same style/layout.
