Just in time for Christmas, read all about this lovely angel.

I have lots of lovely little girl babies to buy for this year as my brother had twins this year and so did my best friend. One of the first range of books I went to buy from is the "That's not my ....." range from Usborne books and written by Fiona Watt. We have a number of these books and really enjoy them and this one is no exception. I bought the angel one as its really girly and cute and perfect for this time of year. The books are described by Usborne as "This delightful series of board books is aimed at very young children. The bright pictures, with their patches of different textures, are designed to develop sensory and language awareness. Babies and toddlers will love turning the pages and touching the feely patches."

This book has a lovely purple colour with little sparkly silver stars all over it. On the front of this book is a lovely Christmas angel is a sparkly puffy silver dress but That's not my angel as her dress is too smooth. We go on to find out that That's not my angel as her hair is too soft, her skirt is too silky, her slippers are too bump and her sleeves are too squashy. On the final two pages we see a beautiful angel with out spread wings and find out that this is my angel as her wings are so fluffy! The wings are lovely and fluffy and fun for little fingers to feel.

All the angels in this book are really nicely illustrated and feature lots of sparkly accessories and embellishes to their dresses making it wonderfully eye-catching and a perfect little book for girls. The book is great quality. It's A5 size and a robust board book so it'd hardback and chunky and can withstand lots of banging, chewing, etc.

I bought this book for £5.99 in The Early Learning Centre and am hoping it will make a well received gift.
