    Advantages Advantages A well documented book of the ancient and modern day sport of Judo

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Not covering in the Katas in any great depth

    This is a bible for anyone wishing to pursue far in the sport of Judo. Whilst the book also covers items not usually taught in most Judo clubs it is technically very superior to most judokas (participants). The book covers the basics as well as Kodokan techniques that are no longer used in the sport. Having studied Judo for the past twenty years I still use this as a refferance book for studies and lesson plans. If I have any critisism it is that it does not cover the Katas of Judo but then again there are other books that cover this subject so I am just being picky . Contents. The Essence of ... more
