In my time I have tried all agencies, Adecco, Blue Arrow, Anne Jagger, Select, First Personal, the job centre and I have found out of all of them Brook Street have been the best, although I never got a placement through them the consultant I had was always trying his hardest to find me a joband whenever he arranged any interviews for me he always got me to come in so he could give me some interview advice and kind of interviewed me himself and gave me some feed back and really prepared me for my interviews. No other agency has gone this far for me. They all give you the details over the phone or via post. Looking for work can be a stressful time and quite difficult, especially if you have to support yourself or a family. Advantages: Employers prefer them
Disadvantages: They lie

I have tried most of them in my time, having had several periods of unemployment, and I cannot say I've ever encountered one I could trust. They all come at you as the best, most caring, compassionate answer to your job-hunting prayers, and they are completely free to boot. Which ought to start alarm-bells ringing in these money-grubbing times. Of course they're free - to you, because you, the job-seeker (as we are expected to refer to ourselves now) are the fodder. The client is charged, though, and quite heavily, for your services, whereas you are paid at the minimum of - what is it now, following the latest Brownian orgasm of glad-handouts : £4.20 an hour? Adopt an Alien Today..

Advantages: Great concept and artwork
Disadvantages: Poor Gameplay

Alien Adoption Agency has been around since 1997 and boasts almost 30 thousand players. Figuring that they must be doing something right I’ve been meaning to give it a go for a long time and finally I found some time this weekend. AAA (as it’s known) is an online, multiplayer game that is primarily text-based. I’ve been a fan of adventure games long before computers could handle swanky graphics, so being text-based doesn’t phase me at all, in fact they generally encourage you to use your imagination (which can only be a good thing methinks!).
