"Happy 53rd ... ...The note goes on with a little riddle, claiming that the writer is someone from Dr. Starks past and that Dr. Starks had ruined the writer's life. The writer goes on to state that he wants Dr. Starks to die, but not my the writer's hands. He intends to drive Dr Starks to his own suicide.
The writer gives Dr. Starks one get-out clause: If he can find out who wrote the note within a fortnight and publishes this name in a one-column ad in the New York ...
