of regular routine is the way to go otherwise you are faced with a little baby who has no idea what?s going on from day to day and parents that don?t have a clue either.
The book that I have been reading that helps me to establish this school of thought and also gives a detailed way of putting that plan into action is Secrets of the BabyWhispererbyTracyHogg. I was actually given this by a neighbour and have really found it very useful.
TracyHogg, the author obtained her nursing degree in England and then went on to forge a career for herself in America in baby care. According to the back of the book in 1997 she founded Baby Technique through which she consults parents individually, organises and teaches group classes and provides nanny training and referrals. She published this book in the year 2001 and unfortunately in 2004 passed away ...

I followed all the techniques that TracyHogg suggests in this book almost to the letter and I have to say I've had fantastic results. As a first time mother I was concerned about making fundemental errors and her advice has been great!
Everything that she tells youto do to calm and connet with yourbaby definetely seem to give results.
The EASY plan (which is at the base of TracyHogg book) really works and it's easy to fit as an everyday routine.
I think 'The BabyWhisperer' is rightto say that allbaby's need a routine and routine is definately the key to having a happy baby.

It is well known that one of the most challenging times as a parent is when your child is a toddler. There are lots of things we need toteach, but at the same time our children are developing a fiercely independent streak wanting to do everything for themselves. Alongside that, it is hugely frustrating for a child as they struggle to communicate their wants and needs - it's no wonder that this time is known as the terrible twos!
When my eldest daughter was one, I was recommended 'Secrets of the BabyWhisperer for Toddlers'. It is written byTracyHogg who had previously published 'The Secrets of the BabyWhisperer' a book which deals with howto bring up a baby. I had not read this first book, but I definitely found this second one focusing on toddlers very useful.
I have to admit that I did not read the book from cover to cover ...
