This handcream is made from almond oil, and is made by the Body Shop.

I first starting using the hand cream when I wandered into the Body Shop looking for a hand cream designed for very dry hands and instant relief for my dry hands. I was approached by an overly zealous sales assistant, who recommended every product under the sun, including ones that wouldn't do anything for my dry hands! I eventually chose this slmond oil hand rescue treatment, as it smelt absolutely delicious and had a texture like butter, which I was sure would cure my dry hands.

When I first used the treatment, I was warned not to use too much, so used a small amount and the results were amazing! My hands literally swallowed up the treatment, and no longer felt dry and sore. I also use this treatment at night, when I apply an enormous amount, and then put on cotton sleeping gloves to hold in the moisture. The gloves are good, and do the trick, but I am easily irritated in my sleep and find that I cannot get to sleep with them on. If I do go to sleep with them on though, I wake up and my hands are perfectly moisturised!

Although I am a great fan of this handcream, I wouldn't say that it gives permanent anfd long lasting results as I am still using it, but for the appearence and health of my hands, I apply it regularly and it seems to do the trick!

For £8.00, you get 100ml, which is quite expensive, but in comparison to how much I use of this hand cream, it is actually very good value. The hand cream is sold alongside a tube of almond oil hand and nail cream, ewhich I would say is more or less the same stuff, but is less concentrated and designed for frequent use.

I like the Body Shop's products as they are animal friendly and give the impression that they are totally natural. The ingredients, of course, are not natural, but the Body Shop does make an effort compared to other retailers of their category.

Overall, I would recommend this product to anyone with dry hands, or anyone that would like to experience a pleasant hand mositurising experience.
