---Why I Bought It---

I was searching the Body Shop website and found these body butters on offer at the time so decided to give them a try.

I made a bit of a mistake in buying this one as I assumed it would have a nice light fragrance - not noticing that on the webiste it was 'fragrance free' - so was a bit disappointed when I opened it! But that was my fault for not reading the online description properly.

---The Product---

Comes in a lovely pale mint green tub with a label on the screw top lid and one on the base.- there is no smell.

200 mls and for sensitive skins. Made in the UK.
The body butter is a soft white colour and is thick and creamy without being greasy.
It moisturises without a greasy feeling.
It also works really well and works on hands, body and also the feet - where it is so cooling. Leaving your skin soft for many hours.

The website lists among its ingredients:-

  • Community Fair Trade organic aloe vera (from Guatemala)
  • Community Fair Trade cocoa butter (from Ghana)
  • Community Fair Trade soya oil (from Brazil).

---Cost---

Cost is £12.50 if bought at full price - but I buy on line and there are often special offers where you can pick it up much more cheaply. I have never bought any at full price yet! It is currently showing as half price online.

---Advantages---

* Very moisturising
* Long lasting
* Bargains when on special offers
* Can be used al over

* Great if you have sensitive skin as no fragrance, colours or preservatives.

---Disadvantages---

Cost can be a bit expensive if bought at full price - but offers often come up on line and in store so you can often pick items up at very reduced prices making this a very useful beauty item.

---My Opinion---

I love body butters form Body Shop and bought a selection of different ones when they were on offer.

It actually is the texture of butter - I was not sure what to expect, not having had body butter before, but it goes on really well and leaves your skin feeling soft for many hours - the website claims '24 hour hydration' - I would not say that long but it certainly keeps my feet lovely and soft overnight.
I love putting it on may hands and feet and they still feel moisturised in the morning after having used the night before.
The body butters are definitely the best moisturisers I have used for texture, staying power and moisturising properties.

The pot lasts a long time and is even nice enough to wash and re-use.

I was disappointed this had no fragrance but that was my error - and certainly this would be most useful for someone with sensitive skin that could not tolerate fragrance in their products.

---Star Rating---

4 stars - would have been 5 but a bit expensive at full price - so keep an eye out for bargain offers.
