Advantages Advantages Smells great & offers amazing results to dull lifeless hair.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Paying £7.00 for it

**** Introduction **** After recently purchasing the body shops banana shampoo and seeing how it livens up and revives my dull highlighted hair, I decided to try out the banana conditioner to compliment the existing shampoo I already had. After hosting a body shop party a few weeks ago I got given many products free of charge so paying £7.00 for this banana conditioner really hurt my purse as I am not used to paying so much, but after trying the shampoo this was a product I just had to try. **** The Conditioner **** This comes in exactly the same bottle as the shampoo, the only difference ... more

Disadvantages Disadvantages doesn't spread well, retail price

Banana Conditioner The Body Shop (TBS) offer a huge range of beauty products which are not tested on animals. TBS use a lot of Fairtrade ingredients in their products. Last year, TBS re-released their popular banana shampoo and conditioner range. This conditioner is suitable for all hair types and it is recommended that you use this alongside the shampoo. The conditioner is enriched with real banana puree and TBS claim that it will leave hair soft and tangle-free. Fairtrade honey also features in the ingredients list. Packaging This conditioner is presented in a clear plastic bottle which ... more

Advantages Advantages Delicious smell, stops most tangles forming

Disadvantages Disadvantages I have to use quite a lot of conditioner each time, the smell doesn't linger well on dry hair

It's not often I use the Body Shop these days, I used to shop there on a weekly basis but since moving to the other side of Birmingham there are no easy to reach stores. A couple of months ago a friend shared a generous discount voucher code and, well, it would have been rude not to use it! I have enough body lotions and potions to open my own shop so decided to buy myself a few 'different' treats such as hair care goodies and little frivolous bits. I've always loved the shampoo and conditioner sets from the Body Shop and remember paying around £7 a bottle a few years ago, so I was mildly ... more

    Advantages Advantages great intensive conditioner

Disadvantages Disadvantages can be overpowering and leave hair heavy.

I first bought this product when I was at school and it was cool to use body shop. Every now and again I pick some up but most of the time I forget about it, mainly because I have to go out of my way to visit a store. And you can’t shop on-line either. The banana nourishing conditioner complements the banana nourishing shampoo, however I very rarely use them both together as combined they are too heavy for my hair and it looks dull and greasy. Don’t let this put you off however as the conditioner on its own is fab. The body shop was founded in 1976 by Anita roddick who started in Brighton ... more

Advantages Advantages smell, ok price, recycled container, soft untangled nourished hair

Disadvantages Disadvantages some might find the smell a put-off, a bit harder to put on due to thick consistency

My hair type: oily with dry and damaged lengths. Needs an intensive conditioner or mask every time I wash it. A little info: This banana conditioner is part of The Body Shop's "retro" range-they brought back some popular products. It comes in a retro-looking, dark yellow plastic 250ml bottle with a dark green label and a retro font. It only comes in this size, 250ml in a 100% recycled plastic bottle and costs £4. I contains real banana puree and banana is actually used in hair masks as it is very nourishing. Also contains Community fair Trade honey, excellent for hair. It doesn't specify what ... more
