I've spent years trying to get skin clear of blackheads and found nothing has worked. One day I saw this little tool and thought, hey this actually might work. I've only ever used facial washes and creams but never any instruments of mass blackhead destruction on my face.

This tool I purchased from the Body Shop is a stick of metal about 5 inches long with a big hole on one end and a little hole on the other. It's a good size so you can get a good hold of it when pushing on skin. It wasn't expensive at all, at just about £1.99 it was good value for money I'd say.

After buying this i steamed my face, patted it dry then placed the little hole of the tool over a blackhead and pushed. To my total shock and suprise the blackhead slipped straight out of my skin. I was delighted that this actually worked and so I spent about 10 minutes pushing these damned black heads from my "T-Zone".

The best way to get full effectiveness of this product is to do the following:
1)Clean your face of all makeup and products
2)Steam your face with either a sauna steamer or a tub of not too hot water and put your head over it.
3)Steam your face for about 10 minutes
4)Pat your face slightly dry with a towel
5)Place the tool over a blackhead and push gently
6)The blackhead should come right out, then move on to the next one

I advise people using this never to do more than 10-15 black heads at a time. If you do you will have a very red face that will look strange to say the least for a while. If a black head is too hard to get out with the tool, DON'T push too hard on it. If you keep pushing on a nasty blackhead you'll end up with a big indent in your face!

I'd say this is quite a handy little tool and I think everyone who wants to get rid of blackheads should have one!
