I first bought this hair mask when visiting my local Body Shop before going off on my travels to Turkey, where I knew the suns harmful rays would take their toll on my hair.
The packaging was great. In general Body Shop packaging is not bland and boring as you expect it to be it is indeed minimalist but it appeals to the senses and has a great organic feel about it. And I love the organic look. It was a large round tub with a round sticker on top and of course the usual details onm stickers underneath the tub. The picture of brazil nuts on the front made my mouth water and knowing that this stuff was not tested on animals and all the packaging was made out of recycled goods made my heart fee at rest.

On holiday, I found this product became extremely versitile. I use it constantly on the ebach, after showering I would rub it into my wet hair and lie down in the sun with it on or simpyl walk around with it in until my hair dried-leaving my hair wavy, shiny and soft.
This was great as it not only detangled my hair and made it look healthier it also protected it from the sun. At night when getting back to my hotel room I also used the product.
Instructions- Before shampooing, scoop out a penny size portion, rub onto hands then rub hands together and distribute evenly through damp hair (towel dry before). Wrap hair in a towel and leave a minimum of 15 minutes, or even overnight. Rinse off, then shampoo and condition as normal.
For maximum results, use in conjunction with Honey Moisturizing Shampoo and Conditioner.
Results- After using this continuously for 2 months (atleast twice a week)- my hair became more manageable, soft and shiny. The ends seemed to seal themselves off and you couldn't see so many split ends anymore. Overall, I believe this product has put lfie back into my very damaged hair and made it look healthy and silky.
The product lasted for a lnog time considering how heavily I used it. When I came back from holiday it was still 3/4 full! And my holiday was 3 weeks long! With this product a little goes a long way!
Advantages: Price Disadvantages: Doesnt work on thick, dark hair.
...see if it would be the answer to my problems but in actual fact it had no affect on my hair at all. I have thick, long dark hair and this product didnt seem to work on it. I think that this is beneficial to those with light, fair hair as a friend of mine who has this this type of hair found it beneficial. One positive aspect of it thought is that it is not very expensive so even if it doesnt work for you, there is not much lost. I would recomment ...

Advantages: They don't test on animals and recycle their packaging Disadvantages: You need to use quite a bit as it's thick!
...I didn't notice any huge improvement with the manageability but as I haven't with any product, this shouldn't deter you too much. As many Body Shop products, it doesn't come with a "matching" shampoo, but they've always got a range of shampoos that smell good enough to eat! ...

Advantages: smells lovely, creates lovely sheen, economical Disadvantages: very moisturising - so not suitable for greasy hair
...I couldn't praise it enough.
The thick gooey consistency is absolutely perfect for conditioning out tangles and adding a perfect sheen to long hair. It smells like a mixture between vanilla and coffee - your hair carries the smell really well and I remember so many people asking me which conditioner I used purely because they could smell it. The Body Shop uses cocoa butter (which is included in this product) from international trade organisations ...

...ADDS MOISTURE. THIS LEAVES THE HAIR SHINY, SOFT AND SILKY AND ACTUALLY HELPS TO PREVENT FURTHER DAMAGE AND SPLIT ENDS WHICH EVERY GIRL SUFFERS FROM. THIS CONDITIONER IS SUITABLE FOR DRY, DAMAGED AND CHEMICALLY TREATED HAIR AND ALTHOUGH IT IS QUITE EXPENSIVE A LITTLE DOES GO ALONG WAY AND IT IS WELL WORTH THE MONEY. THE FORMULA IS ALSO NOT TO GREASY THAT IT LEAVES YOUR HAIR FEELING LANK AND DULL BUT REVIALISED AND FEELING NATURAL. ...

Advantages: Very nice on the hair Disadvantages: very expensive
...I spent a fortune in the shop. I thought that it would smell scrummy and nutty, but it didn't smell that great. It worked wonders on my hair and left it feeling shiny and glossy. It left something on my hair as it took ages to dry making it feel strange but using a tiny amount stopped this. I don't think that this product is worth the fortune that the body shop charges. Many people I know agree. For the same price you can buy good brand shampoos, ...

Reviews which might be of interest for "The Body Shop Brazil Nut Conditioner"
I'm a big fan of the BodyShop, although I've not use many of their hair product range. I went in to buy a face mask and this conditioner caught my eye. Being somewhat hair-obsessed I thought I'd review this conditioner.
It contains Brazilnut oil, this intrigued me and I opened the bottle for a sniff... it smells divine!
Not the best reason to try something, but there we go!
This did wonders for my dry hair and eliminated frizz. I'm sure that it made my hair 'heathier' after continued use.
The problem is it is quite messy to use so I would recommend a plastic cap (or clingfilm which works too!) when you leave the treatment in your hair.
I let my hair dry naturally and it was incredibly soft and manageable!
It is a very creamy product and as soon as your hair starts to dry you can tell the difference. However ...
Advantages: smell, price, eco-friendly Disadvantages: not too frequent, not for greasy or short hair that needs volume
I wrote earlier an opinion on BodyShop's BrazilNutConditioner. This shampoo is the perfect partner and they are marketed together as a duo.
I absolutely love the smell of brazilnut - it is more of a vanilla/coffee smell than one of nuts, and it has real staying power that perfumes your hair all day, yet at the same time is still natural and not over-powering. This shampoo is very rich and intensive and therefore is not recommended for frequent use, unless you have particualrly damaged hair that needs a lot of loving care and attention. Like the conditioner, it is also very moisturising and I find that it can make my very short hair quite limp if I use it too regularly. The trick is to use it alongside a less intensive product about once a week - your hair will look and smell divine.
The BodyShop, as with a lot of its products ...
Advantages: Smells absolutely amazing! Disadvantages: Doesn't seem to actually do any conditioning.
I bought this conditioner (and matching shampoo) purely on the basis of the smell. I'm not a big fan of the bodyshop - although I appreciate their stance on animal testing, I find their 'natural' image amusing since their products contain the same chemicals as any other brand. Also, I feel that many products that you can find on the shelves at Boots are of equal quality, for the same or cheaper prices.
I should have listened to my instincts.
I can't believe that they advertise this as a 'moisturising' conditioner. My hair is fairly normal - maybe slightly dry, straight, and fine. After using this, my hair felt as though I hadn't used any conditioner at all. Even while it was still wet, the hair felt stripped out. Luckily, the BodyShop had been doing a promotion when I bought the Honey products and I got the BrazilNut ...
