Out of all the body butters I’ve ever used, (and that was quite a few) this one works the best. If you have dry skin or just need good body butter, then go no further!
The body shop, famous for it’s no animal testing policy so that animals aren’t unnecessarily dieing, environmental policy so that you can recycle some of they’re packaging again, community trade so that farmers in other countries get the right price for what they’re growing, human rights so that they can raise money for the human rights charity, and most of all self esteem, their products will make you feel happier, and help you and feel good about yourself!
Hemp is an enclosed plant that is related to cannabis. TRUE, but the levels of cannabis in grade hemp are so small that you wonder what all the fuss is about. Hemp contains the necessary fatty acids that provide moisture, as well as to help to repair dry skin. With this in the body butter, it helps to get rid of dead skin cells and replace it with good cells that will help lock in the moisture.
The only down side to it is that it doesn’t smell as nice as it could do. It smells a bit weird. If you’re all about the smell in a product, then I advise you not to go for it but to go for something in the melon seed range because that smells wonderful! But if you just want a product that will help stop dry skin or eliminate it, then I advise this product because within about 3 days of using it once a day, you should notice a difference!
I advise that you should use it after shaving, waxing or epilating because it will help to lock in the moisture and prevent dry skin, instead of using nothing and getting, sore, dry flaky skin that hurts when you touch it!
Also, if you don’t want to spend extra money on the hemp foot protector, you can use this on your feet which will lock in the moisture. If your always on your feet in heels or boots, then this will help prevent getting blisters. But if you’ve got sore feet, then give yourself (or get your partner to) a foot massage and it will be a treat to your feet – like chocolate is a treat to your mouth, a foot massage is a treat to your feet!
So, overall, I advise you to go out and buy the hemp body butter and treat your body, I mean it’s only around £10 and will not only last you a long time, will help your body when it needs it, and will help protect your body better in the future! I rate this body butter a 9 and half out ten (because the smell isn’t very nice) but works like a treat!

Major moisture! Review ofThe Body Shop Hemp Body Butterby

Advantages: Amazingly moisturising! Disadvantages: Smells a little odd and doesn't look too pretty.
...am such a lover of The Body Shops Hemp hand cream and needed a replacement I decided to treat myself to a gift box of hemp products. This body butter was in that box. Before buying the set I had not used any of the other hemp products that The Body Shop offers.
The Body Shop are famous for their array of different body butters, they are more moisturising than most other body lotions and creams, containing natural butters for twenty four hours of ... ...like necessary and love using the one that suits my mood on any given day.
Everyone's skin needs to be moisturised and whether you know it or not, you are no exception! Even oily skin needs to be moisturised and it may well be that your skin is oily because you don't! On the days when my skin feels dry and itchy I reach for this body butter because it has been formulated for extremely dry skin. If you have trouble getting products that are moisturising ...

Advantages: Moisturises well. Worth the money Disadvantages: the funny green colur. The strange aroma.
...successful product that will combat the flaky covering of my 'earth suit,' the task was nigh impossible!# The answer came in the form of my husband, who, whether he was hinting or not, bought me this 200ml tub, with the contents described for 'intense moisturisation, protection and repair. EXTREMELY DRY SKIN.' MMmmmm! Maybe he WAS hinting that I needed to do something about my disposition! I blame my mother! As I am a Body Shop fan, I was keen to ... ...the negative points first, and then turn the product round to the positive. On opening the tub, I was welcomed by a cream that looked as though it had a rather bad cold...going by the pale green colour! The other thing that hit me was the aroma. Not dreadfully bad or particularly off-putting, but I had smelt it somewhere before; I realised it had a very faint pungent whiff of a product you'd find in a garage or workshop. maybe paint, or putty or ...

Advantages: The moisture this gives your skin is brilliant Disadvantages: Quite expensive, and in my opinion the smell is awful
...been a huge fan of The Body Shop body butter for the last five years or so, but I'd never have bought the hemp version myself. I got given a tub of this from my boyfriend and I have to say it's amazing stuff. Each body butter tub is 200ml and is nice and easy to open and close when your hands are a bit buttery (in the past I've had problems getting a grip on some pots to close them because I'm so greasy from the product!).
At first sight the actual ... ...Personally I really don't like the smell of the product which can be a bit of a problem as all of the different body butter varieties smell quite strongly when you are wearing them. This is really good with some of the others (passion fruit and blueberry are my favourites) but I really wish this one was fragrance free as I think I smell horrible when I use it!
Having suffered from eczema my entire life I have very dry skin which is often very sore, ...

Hemp-tastic Review ofThe Body Shop Hemp Body Butterby

Advantages: Wonderful Moisturiser Disadvantages: Has a Body Shop price tag
HEMP BODY BUTTER
The Body Shop have a large Hemp range, containing various moisturisers for lips, hands, feet and the body.
I am going to talk about the Body Butter from the Hemp range.
HEMP
Hemp is one of the most persecuted plants in history, it has over 25,000 uses, including being used in the production of ship's ropes, bank notes and clothing. The benefits of it’s fantastically high levels of essential oils, perfect for really dry skin, ... ...of the cannibas family, but industrial grade hemp (used in Body Shop Products) has such low levels of THC (the psychoactive bit) that you have to wonder what the fuss is about. No amount of using a Hemp Skin Care Products will result in a mind altering experience (unless you call the discovery of a fantastic moisturiser mind altering)
THE BODY BUTTER
Hemp Body Butter is an ultra-rich, all over body butter with moisturising hemp seed oil, Glycerin ...

Advantages: Beautifully smooth cream that reduces dryness Disadvantages: The smell and the price
...course of homeopathy which changed the appearance of her ezcema. Instead of being angry and red her arms became extremely dry which was resulting in her scratching them more - in fact she looked as if she had walked through a rose bush.
After doing some research on the web I read some positive reviews on :
Hemp Body Butter by The Body Shop.
I decided to give it a try. I was a little shocked at the price of £10 for 200ml, however she's my little ... ...a couple of days use, the dryness went and her scratches began to recover.
Morning and night I am continuing to cover the areas of her body which areprone to eczema with the body butter.
It is about 3 weeks now since I started using the cream and so far there hasn't been any major flare ups, which given the hot and clammy weather we have been having I am amazed.
I have occasionally seen the redness starting to appear and have immediately applied ...

Advantages: Works really well, good value for money Disadvantages: Smell may not be for everyone
...a small amount out. You hands feel instantly softer and smoother but it does not make them feel greasy. It rubs in really well and does not leave any visible marks. Id say the smell was a matter of opinion. I'd describe it as an earthy smell. Rather like cut grass in a way.
It costs £9.00 for a 100ml tube which does sound a bit steep for a hand cream but you really do only need to use a small amount so the tube will last a long time. Also if your hands are "normal" , not overly dry or cracked then you may not need something so mistuning as this is made for very dry skin.
White cotton gloves are also available from The BodyShop to use with the cream for a more intensive treatment and a range of other Hemp products are available, including a foot protector and a BodyButter. Like the hand protector, these are aimed at people...

Advantages: Very soft, moisturised feet. Disadvantages: Some may say the cost.
...of a combination of damp woody / pepperminty smell. I'm not overly keen on the smell which does linger for some time afterwards but I like the effect the cream has on my feet so I persevere with the smell!
It's a lovely rich cream, which is easy to rub in and is absorbed on my feet very quickly and they aren't desperately dry. What is also good about the cream is that it doesn't leave a sticky residue as so many other hand and foot creams do!
For even better results and if you suffer from extremely dry, hard skin on your feet then I would advise you to invest in some little booties, apply the cream, put the booties on and allow it to work it's magic.

...You can tell that it's post-Christmas and that I got a lot of toiletries to spoil and pamper myself.
This time it has been the turn of the BodyShop Mango BodyButter. The 200ml tub is £10 and is yellow.
This may seem expensive but the tub is huge and a little goes a long way!
The BodyShop do a wide range of BodyButters:
Cranberry, Candied Citrus, Coconut, Grapeseed, Hemp, Passion Fruit, Cocoa Butter, Nut, Papaya, Sesame, She, Olive, Blueberry and Mango.
The BodyButter in question, Mango has a very very strong smell of yes, you guessed it Mango, but I have been trying to fathom out what else it reminds me of and it's very ripe nectarines, not peaches!
I applied it after my bath. It's a vibrant yellow colour and I have now realised that you don't need quite so much as I initially applied as it took a while to soak in. It...
