"Body Shop Lip Care - choose with care"

Body Shop Lip Care balms come on lots of different flavours or smells rather. Now you had better watch out which one you get because there is a drastic difference between one and then next. Some of the Body Shop lip balms are so soft and last quite a long time, keeping ur lips feeling good but others are quite the contrarty. Some are so horrid that you want to wipe them off yourself.

If you want to go the safe way you should go with: Born Lippy unbriddled pasionberry i believe it is called. The smell does not suit everyone unfortunately. I have a friend who finds the smell revolting while i quite like it. Anyway this lip balm is great. If you want some gloss just put on a little extra and u'll have ur gloss without a change in color while if you don't want gloss just make sure you rub it in and don't have large amounts of extra balm covering your lips. Now this balm is very soft but beware that it has been known to melt. So if you keep your lip balm in your pocket at all times, when you take out the tub of balm you may find that you scoop up too much because it has suddenly gone so soft. I have found that the Kiwi lib balm is also good as is the cranberry one, but watch out that the cranberry also paints your lips quite red, as i discovered at a friend's house.

Stay away from Banana, and Piña Colada. I was given the piña colada by a friend, a very sweet gift but i am afraid it is one of those lip balms that 5 minutes after application you want to scrub off. This also applies to the banana. I have no idea why but these lip balms become GRAINY!!!!!! This is definitely not quite the texture you want on your lips is it? Apart form anything else the Banana smells horrid! So keep away from those.

The hemp lip balm which comes in a stick is very good as well. It does do some moisturising and if you don't want a strong smell, this is the one for you. It can become addictive so be careful (not in the drug sense).

Just a couple of simple things you may want to remember when buying lib balm:
If it is a stick then it may go soft and the turning device on the bottom to make it go up may turn in ur pocket making the top of the stick attatch to the cap and thus break the stick. The top can also sometimes come off meaning that you get dirt and what have you stuck not only on the top of the balm stick but on the inside of the cap.

If you get a tub, dirt often collects around the sides of the screw on part making it look rather unappetising but the dirt rarely reaches the balm. If there is anything on your fingers that you didn't notice, it'll get stuck in the balm and u'll have a time trying to scrape it out.
