The Body Shop Olive Glossing Conditioner is one of three conditioners that they are producing at the moment (the others being Honey Moistursing and Nettle Oil Balancing Conditioners). I was in The Body Shop a while back and noticed they had travel size bottles of Olive Glossing Conditioner on sale for £1. I’m always on the lookout for a good conditioner to soften and smooth my rather dry hair, so picked up a bottle. This conditioner is designed for normal to dry hair and is described as a smoothing conditioner with Community Trade Organic Olive Oil. The bottle is olive-green with a picture of some olives, just in case you need reminding of the main ingredient in the product! This conditioner does what it says and leaves hair somewhat glossy. But it doesn't smell that great, and it's quite runny compared to most conditioners and I end up using a lot more of it than usual. Overall I thought this conditioner was okay but not the best for getting glossy hair. If you have greasy hair this product is okay, but for dry hair like mine it doesn't provide enough moisture especially during winter. I would recommend one of the dove conditioners for people with dry hair. I found that it was much easier to get glossy hair by using a shine serum like Kerastase's on wet hair ... more
