The Body Shop Seaweed Ionic Clay Mask

The Product = = = = = = = The product I am reviewing is a Seaweed Ionic Clay Mask, from The Body Shop. The product is suitable for combination/oily skin and helps to purify, cleans and control access oil on the skin. I don't often suffer from spots, how-ever I do get the occasional break out during the time of the month and my skin can become a little more greasy and sweaty than normal. I thought that this would be a good product to use once a week to give my face a good cleanse and clean. It was my birthday a few months ago and one of the presents that I recieved was a gift bag full of The Body Shop goodies, which included a pot of the seaweed clay face mask. I'd seen this quite a few times in The Body Shop but as it's aimed at oily skin (and is quite expensive!) I wasn't too sure about it and gave it a miss. I'm glad that I got it as a present though as it's a pretty good face mask, although I definitely wouldn't buy it unless it was on offer as it costs £12.00 per 100ml. On a recent trip to the Body Shop, I'd only intended to stock up on some Tea Tree night lotion and have a look at their blemish stick from the same range but for some inexplicable reason, I also ended up buying this face mask despite having only just bought a much cheaper face mask tube from Superdrug. ****Body Shop Seaweed Ionic Clay Mask **** Recently i treated myself to a couple of face masks from the body shop and this is one of the ones i got. **Body shop** They sell a wide range of skin care products and some cosmetics(foundation,some eye shadows ...). I would describe them as being more up market and a little bit more expensive than the average shop but worth it as the quality is great. **Packaging** This comes in a round tub with a screw on lid. I suffer from oily skin and have tried all kinds of products to combat this. I came across this clay mask by the body shop and it has been a god send. The smell is quite strong at first but soon becomes unnoticeable. Apply the product all over the face - it is a dark green which soon dries out as a pale green. When the product starts to dry out you will notice that your face becomes very stiff. I usually leave the mask on until my whole face is pale green - approx 30 mins.
