I love to have an eye gel handy-I have tried and tested quite a few as sometimes I tend to suffer from 'tired looking eyes' and my pet-hate 'puffy eyes' after a night out or after I have cried. Why Elderflower you may ask well the Body Shop say: 'It is a mild astringent that helps to revitalise and soothe the skin'.
I thought I would try The Body Shop Elderflower Unperfumed Eye Gel, and I was surprised to see the price of this one as I thought it might be a lot more-so a good offer. At a Body Shop Party at home I recently purchased this item (amongst other products)! I needed an eye gel and this one looked good as it was simple and unperfumed.
The Price: For a 15ml/0.5oz/14g pot of this eye-gel it is £5.00. For the amount you get and because it is Body Shop I really did think this was a good price. I ordered it at the party, or you can get this one in-store or online too for the same price. Online at: www.thebodyshop.co.uk
The Packaging: This one is a simple see-through pot which I like as you can see the product. With a black lid and white writing on so you can see it clearly. The writing on the side however is very small and quite faint. The low-down for the product is: 'Instant uplift for tired eyes, in a lovely gel which cools, soothes and lightly moisturises the delicate eye area. With elderflower extract and witch hazel'. The Elderflower is used to soothe the eyes and the witch hazel to reduce puffiness-just what I need! The eye-gel also contains Glycerine to: 'Act as an effective moisturiser which helps improve softness and maximise hydration'.
Usage: I use this product before I go to bed everyday and sometimes in the day for a pick me up for the eyes! I first used the product and noticed that a little goes a long way-just a small amount on the index finger can be used on both eyes. The product is a little watery so that's why you don't need a lot. I gently pat this gel around the delicate eye area above and below and noticed how very cooling it made my skin feel-it didn't irritate it is very mild and would be good for sensitive skin. My skin is smooth afterwards too! I noticed the next morning of first use that my eye area looked very young and bright-it helps with puffiness-I recommend putting this product in the fridge for maximum effect of cooling and soothing! The product has a slight chemical smell to it but it's very slight.
Conclusion: This product is very good value for money it lasts for a long time too. Although the product is a bit watery and has a slight chemical smell to it-it is fine and works well on tired or puffy eyes. It cools and soothes and leaves skin feeling soft and quite tight! I use this product everyday and would recommend it for even sensitive skin.

Advantages: A great help for puffy eyes. Disadvantages: None
...when you wake up in the mornings, take a look in the mirror and discover that you have eyes that look like arrow slits due to water retention then that is a crisis in my books.
I never had any problems with puffy eyes until I entered my fifties and then it started with a vengeance. The Body Shop stores are like a wonderland, as you enter the door the smell is fabulous, the shelves are a riot of colour and the packaging always looks attractive.

...puffy,tired looking eyes.I have tried the usual, camomile tea bags, and cucumber slices, but since the incident when my son picked up the wrong slice to eat I decided it was time to find a new potion! So off I headed down to my local Body Shop to see what was available.

...red-eyed panda! I've tried all the usual remedies - cold water, tea-bags and so on, but I became a convert to The Body Shop's Unperfumed Elderflower Eye Gel after the consultant recommended it at a Body Shop At Home party. The £1.99 it cost seemed a small price to pay to see if it worked.

Quick review of The Body Shop Unperfumed Elderflower Eye Gel
I used this product a long time ago (about 15 year) and was very happy with it. In half an hour the puffiness around my eyes was gone.
Then years later I bought another one and then it was a little sticky and it dried out in the end.
But today I got me a new one because one eye is very swollen of an injury and it's wonderfull! It's not sticky anymore and it is still working so good.
I tried all kinds of eye gels but this is the only one I am really happy with, it's my favourite beauty product ever. ...
