...Author Introduction

Gary’s love of cooking goes back to his childhood. At the tender age of thirteen, he cooked a special pudding for his family. His passion for cooking led him into a career as a chef, attending a catering college in Broadstairs, Kent, where he became top of his class.
Landing a job at the Hilton Hotel in Amsterdam, his career nearly ended when he was run over by a tram and required brain surgery. Thankfully, he made a recovery, returning to Britain in 1984 to work at the Capital Hotel.

...I found this book great to read mostly because i wanted to find out Garys true feelings on his former bandmate Robbie Williams. Gary is extremely honest about the highs and lows of take that and what happened after the band split
He talks about his life before the band when he was first noticed. Gary was the bands front man who wrote the hits ' A million love songs' , 'Pray' and ' Back for good'.
He talks about his apprenticeship in the working men's club in the north of England, His ambition and how his life transformed when he met Nigel Martin-Smith.
he also talks a bit about his private life of his wife and children
This is a compelling reed of a normal young man growing up in the music industry....
