If you have never been in a Disney Store you will be amazed at the different types of products that are usually always in stock. Although I must say I think you either love or hate the Disney Store. My husband doesn't understand the appeal of purchasing ... ...bear somewhere else for half the price. I think if you have been brought up to watch Disney cartoons then you have an automatic liking of Disney. Whenever I have been into the store there is a good selection with plenty of stock and the staff fill the shelves on a regular basis throughout the day.

My husband doesn't understand the appeal of purchasing a Disney character bear for £20 when you can buy another bear somewhere else for half the price. I think if you have been brought up to watch Disney cartoons then you have an automatic liking of Disney. Whenever I have been into the store there is a good selection with plenty of stock and the staff fill the shelves on a regular basis throughout the day.
Impulse buying is very easy in this store as you will find a product on the shelf and immediately fall in love with it. I love the snow globes and I have found that it is easy to go into this store and spend a lot more than you had in mind. The sales team are very good at making you believe that you need a particular item. The other great thing about this store if you are purchasing a gift for somebody you can get it gift wrapped at a small additional cost.
The products appeal to all ages and there really is something for everyone. From little children to bigger children and adults who are children at heart there is something you will like. There are many different Disney character products although I must say that recently I went into the store asking for Higgly Town Heroes which is a Disney production and they didn't have any products. My little girl loves Higgly Town Heroes and I wanted to treat her, but I couldn't and I was somewhat dissapointed. Going to the Disney Store is an experience in itself. If you love Disney products then you will probably enjoy visiting this store. It is nicely decorated and products are easy to reach. You feel like you are going back to childhood when you walk into the store and see all the different products. This is where impulse shopping is incredibly difficult to avoid since you see something and convince yourself that you need it. If you know that you cannot avoid impulse buys then don't go in until you are sure that you can afford it otherwise you will just end up maxing out your credit card if you have one.
The store is expensive because you are paying for a brand name as well as the quality of the product. Let me give you an example, you would purchase a cuddly toy starting from around £5 in another shop whereas in the Disney Store the cost starts around £10 or more depending on the actual size of the item. Character mugs cost anything from £5 - £7 and so on. The products are great quality and offer something extra special. The products haven't been churned out and are resistant to any damage a small child might inflict on them. Just be careful if you are on a budget because it is easy to over spend although you will have a time period to take back the item if you keep the receipt. Customer service is good and once you have been to the store you will want to return.
I grew up loving Disney when I was just 6 I went on the first British Airways flight from Manchester to Florida. When we got off the airoplane Mickey Mouse was standing there with some camera men. What I didn't know was that they were filming the news to report the first flight. I ran off that airoplane faster than my parents could catch me and ran up to Mickey Mouse giving him a big hug. The camera men decided that it was all right to carry on filming and that night I appeared on the news. Mickey Mouse was my childhood hero and I had several cuddly toys of Mickey and the other characters.
When I was young there was no such thing as the Disney Store the only real place you could buy Disney characters was in Disney World. A few shops stocked them, but nothing compared to Disney World toys. Today children everywhere are privaledged to have the Disney Store. You can get a little bit of the Disney magic by entering one of these stores. They are my favourite stores and I would recommend them to any Disney lover.
The disney store is a fantasy world for a child.... ok the products are expensive but a child can spend ages in the store - enjoy their visit and spend nothing! The staff are of course ever so eager to please as disney would expect - they are dressed brightly and always welcome you into the shop and say goodbye when you leave ( ok a little americanised but it makes the children feel special). You are able to pre-book disney tickets in the disney store for all disneylands - I think it may be cheaper to get the tickets when you arrive however. Advantages: Great choice of all Disney things Disadvantages: Expensive
The Disney store sells everything DIsney,from 101 dalmations,Mickey and Pluto and loads more.
They sell a huge range of cuddly toys and also dressing up clothes,Disney stationery eg pencils,rubbers,cases,Also plate sets and anything to do with Disney.
There is a huge TV screen in most stores which is always playing a film or cartoon.
I think this store is great to look round, I have bought a couple of things but I think it's is really expensive.When ... ...winnie the pooh it was from the states and was much cheaper.
I tend to buy small things if I'm at the airport as there was a disney store at Heathrow and Gatwick and if youv,e forgotton a present of holiday then it's a great place to find one.
Lots of girly things like princess and fairy outfits, from aladin or mulan etc. Other things like picture frames, ornaments and pottery to keep and not play with. ...

I have loved going into the DisneyStores since I was young and, as I am now mid-30's (not revealing my exact age here!), just proves that the magic of the Disneystore is for the whole family.
There is not a Disneystore where I am, they are mainly around the larger cities - near me (I live in Scotland), I think the closest shops are in Glasgow and Edinburgh.
Pre-children, I always loved going to the Disneystore whenever I visited Glasgow or Edinburgh and I would buy things to put aside for friends' children for Christmas and birthday presents. Now that I have a family it's nice to take them to the stores too whenever we are away.
When you go into a Disneystore, what first amazed me was that there was not just items on display to buy, but also a large screen which showed clips, songs and music from Disney shows.

Like a lot of major shopping centres across the country, the Harlequin centre has a Disneystore. These stores are aimed towards all ages. Disney has a brand image of magic, and this is somehow felt when you enter this Watford based store. At the shops entrance you are greeted with a cheery smiled and beckoned in.
As in most Disneystores around the country, a huge mountain of stuffed, Disney characters greets you and your eyes stare in amazement at the large TV screen, showing cartoons and previous Disney movies.
The store also stocks a large range of clothing from adults and kids nightwear, to casual tops and even fancy dress costumes, of your favourite Disney characters. They also sell a range of merchandise such as pencil cases and figures ...
Advantages: Beautiful set out, the store is so bright and colourful. Kids will love it. Disadvantages: Not many Disney stores around.
The DisneyStore is my favourite shop. Unfortunately where I live there is not one, but I have visited ones when I have been to other areas, but there is still their website.
When you enter a DisneyStore it is so bright and colourful, automatically attracting children into it.
There is a variety of price ranges in the shop, and there is always pocket money products available like stationary and sweets.
The shops in London are superb with a great range. The one near Selfridges in amazing, being set over two floors.
Whilst in the shop there are also different clips being played on big TV screens. If you are a massive Disney fan like me it is great. They show new movies, and also really great videos about Walt Disney World and other Disney parks around the world.
