The Disney Store is a shop that sells Disney merchandise. There are Disney Stores across the UK and indeed across the world. There are Disney Stores in Disney World and Disney Land.

If you have never been in a Disney Store you will be amazed at the different types of products that are usually always in stock. Although I must say I think you either love or hate the Disney Store. My husband doesn't understand the appeal of purchasing a Disney character bear for £20 when you can buy another bear somewhere else for half the price. I think if you have been brought up to watch Disney cartoons then you have an automatic liking of Disney. Whenever I have been into the store there is a good selection with plenty of stock and the staff fill the shelves on a regular basis throughout the day.

Impulse buying is very easy in this store as you will find a product on the shelf and immediately fall in love with it. I love the snow globes and I have found that it is easy to go into this store and spend a lot more than you had in mind. The sales team are very good at making you believe that you need a particular item. The other great thing about this store if you are purchasing a gift for somebody you can get it gift wrapped at a small additional cost.

The products appeal to all ages and there really is something for everyone. From little children to bigger children and adults who are children at heart there is something you will like.
There are many different Disney character products although I must say that recently I went into the store asking for Higgly Town Heroes which is a Disney production and they didn't have any products. My little girl loves Higgly Town Heroes and I wanted to treat her, but I couldn't and I was somewhat dissapointed.
Going to the Disney Store is an experience in itself. If you love Disney products then you will probably enjoy visiting this store. It is nicely decorated and products are easy to reach. You feel like you are going back to childhood when you walk into the store and see all the different products. This is where impulse shopping is incredibly difficult to avoid since you see something and convince yourself that you need it. If you know that you cannot avoid impulse buys then don't go in until you are sure that you can afford it otherwise you will just end up maxing out your credit card if you have one.

The store is expensive because you are paying for a brand name as well as the quality of the product. Let me give you an example, you would purchase a cuddly toy starting from around £5 in another shop whereas in the Disney Store the cost starts around £10 or more depending on the actual size of the item. Character mugs cost anything from £5 - £7 and so on. The products are great quality and offer something extra special. The products haven't been churned out and are resistant to any damage a small child might inflict on them. Just be careful if you are on a budget because it is easy to over spend although you will have a time period to take back the item if you keep the receipt. Customer service is good and once you have been to the store you will want to return.

I grew up loving Disney when I was just 6 I went on the first British Airways flight from Manchester to Florida. When we got off the airoplane Mickey Mouse was standing there with some camera men. What I didn't know was that they were filming the news to report the first flight. I ran off that airoplane faster than my parents could catch me and ran up to Mickey Mouse giving him a big hug. The camera men decided that it was all right to carry on filming and that night I appeared on the news. Mickey Mouse was my childhood hero and I had several cuddly toys of Mickey and the other characters.

When I was young there was no such thing as the Disney Store the only real place you could buy Disney characters was in Disney World. A few shops stocked them, but nothing compared to Disney World toys. Today children everywhere are privaledged to have the Disney Store. You can get a little bit of the Disney magic by entering one of these stores. They are my favourite stores and I would recommend them to any Disney lover.
