Just Cause is an exciting action game for the Playstation 2 which is like another GTA based game and is developed by Eidos.
In the game you are the excellent character Rico Rodriguez who is sent to San Esperito Island and your job is to get rid of the evil dictator called Salvador Mendoza which allows you to have some fun on the missions!
There is also a massive free roaming element to this game as you can explore the massive island. I mean massive! You can take some nice cars from some of the civilians or parachute off a cliff! You can also fly helicopters, kill people, annoy the Agency and the police, and just have fun! I like the fact there are so many vehicles whether on car, in the air or even in the water on boat (yes there are boats!) By all accounts Rock and Roll should have been finished by 1959, and the Playstation 2 should have be a ?dead? platform by 2005 ?but somehow, both refuse to die.
We still listen to a surprising amount of four chord sixteen bar riffs, and the PS2 continues to be the highest volume games console of all time.
Guitar Hero III ?Legends of Rock? masterfully exploits both anomolies.
Guitar Hero is available on a number of formats ? including Nintendo DS, Xbox, PC and PS3 HOWEVER the humble PS2 is still in the frame and capable of providing if not endless hours of entertainment, at the very least, a distraction during a wet Bank Holiday weekend.
It?s entirely possible to play the PS2 version using the standard controller ? although it isn?t that much fun.

The Playstation 2 Slimline (SL) is a newer design of the Playstation. Although the Slimline is smaller it still has the same capabilities as the old PS2.
The PS2 SLplays every single PS2 game that you could think of and still has the ability to play PS1 games aswell.
It is much smaller than the old PS2 which means it is easier to place in any room in the house without taking up a ridiculous amount of room. As well as being smaller it is more power efficient and gives off less heat which means it can be placed in a confined space without fear of it overheating.
Just like the original PS2 the SL can be placed either horizontally or vertically and comes with a vertical stand. The stand is detachable so that if you simply want to sit it in between a wall and a cupboard then you can do so.
