The Final Reckoning has to be one of the best books I have ever read, if not the book I've ever read. Synopsis The book begins outside the United Nations building in New York where a suspected suicide bomber is shot by one of the UN's security staff. However when the bomber is turned over its revealed to be a harmless old man who seems to have been in the wrong place at the wrong time. Tom Byrne was once a lawyer for the UN, his ex boss asks him if he will represent the UN in attempting to placate the old man's family. Tom travels to London in order to talk with the old man's daughter, while ... more
