...last week after realising that the time had come that my baby was no longer a tiny baby and was becomming a big girl now she was starting being weaned. I had looked at all the different highchairs and felt slightly amazed by how many different ones there are to choose from yet they all look pretty much the same and then I came across this as an alternative and couldn't resist buying it!

I had looked at all the different highchairs and felt slightly amazed by how many different ones there are to choose from yet they all look pretty much the same and then I came across this as an alternative and couldn't resist buying it!

It's a booster seat which you just strap onto the dining chair and then pop your baby in by moving the tray and then swinging it closed again. It is definitely better than with highchairs i've used before which have an immobile t-bar type design in which it's a struggle to get my baby's legs through the gaps and i feel like I need three pairs of hands not just the one!

It's good because it has three different heights too so if the chair is quite a low one the seat can be hired so that my baby isn't looking lost underneath the table top! It folds away neatly which is great! I don't have abig house and already it is taken over by baby products EVERYWHERE and so this saves space! I know that highchairs fold up but they still then don't fit away in cupboards unlike this one! It is also completely plastic and so really easy to wipe down and is dishwasher friendly which is another benefit as it's usually the way that highchairs end up covered in bits of food and stains that are not always possible to get out especially as they have fabric backs or awkward creases in their material.

It is useful too for taking back and forth to other peoples' houses or if you go away. I'm planning on spending a few days with my parents and so it saves them worrying about hiring a highchair or buying in a cheap one this one will do the trick instead! It folds so small that it wont take up much room at all in the car.

It also has a 'travelling handle' so you can carry it along with you should you want to!

It comes in this Winne The Pooh design which is nice and bright and cheerful and although it has a blue back to it I think it's pretty unisex! I know that it is also available in a pink princess type design too but I preferred this one as I'm fed up of seeing pink plastic everywhere!

The tray itself isn't very large but it's ideal for us!

It's recommended for use from 6 month plus like with other high chairs. My daughter is coming up to that now and still seems slightly smallf or it although she was a tiny baby.

I guess the only downside I can think of is that it quite fiddly to take apart so it wont be getting in the dishwasher very often! Also I guess it is not all that cheap compared to other highchairs and yes it does have the value that it folds away and can be put in a small space but I sometimes wonder once my daughter is on 3/4 meals a day how often I will be needing to fold it down anyway? It will end up a piece of furniture along with all of her other things so maybe it's folding feature wont be used all that often anyway except for trips away.

It is a definite good buy though for space saving and for practical use-keep clean and can be used over and over again and with the next baby too seeing as it's unisex!
