"Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air Series 1 DVD"

The Banks family, a respectable family, take in cousin - Will Smith, a street-smart teenager from Philadelphia. The idea is to make him respectable, responsible and mature it's a bumpy ride funny as well

William "Will" Smith Played By Himself
Carlton Banks Played By Alfonso Ribeiro
Hilary Banks Played By Karyn Parsons
Ashley Banks Played By Tatyana Ali
Philip Banks Played By James Avery
Geoffrey Played By Joseph Marcell

Arguably the funniest show that has been on television in yearssss. It had to begin from somewhere and the first season is where. Will Smith as we know from other roles in "Hitch" "iAM Legend" "Bad Boys" and many many more. He is a funny character and we get to see him fresh and young in this.
Season 1: 1. The Fresh Prince Project 2. Bang the Drum, Ashley
3. Clubba Hubba 4. Not With My Pig, You Don't 5. Homeboy, Sweet Homeboy
6. Mistaken Identity 7. Def Poet's Society
8. Someday Your Prince Will Be in Effect (1) 9. Someday Your Prince Will Be in Effect (2) 10. Kiss My Butler
11. Courting Disaster 12. Talking Turkey
13. Knowledge is Power 14. Day Damn One
15. Deck the Halls 16. The Lucky Charm
17. The Ethnic Tip 18. The Young and the Restless 19. It Had To Be You
20. Nice Lady 21. Love at First Fight 22. Banks Shot 23. 72 Hours 24. Just Infatuation 25. Working It Out
This is where we get to see Young Will coming to live with Aunt Vivian and Uncle Phil. As soon as he gets their havoc seems to begin Uncle Philip isn't too impressed by Will's behavior, especially teaching Ashley to rap and ruining his image to his members of the law firm by rapping and joking however his Aunt Vivian tries to remain neutral in all this. In Episode 2 We are further introduced to Jazzy Jeff aka Jazz. Will's best friend After Ashley reveals to Will that she does not enjoy playing the violin that her father makes her learn, he takes her to get a drum kit. Then reveals that he has already hired Ashley a teacher which is Jazz.
Season 1 ENDS with dainty, dopey Hilary getting a job working with Marissa Redman who turns out to be completely bossy. Will surprises Hilary with Jazz in the office and Marissa takes a liking to Will, wanting to bring him to a restaurant opening, she puts Hilary's job on the line if she can't set them up. Will will only do it if Hilary goes on a date with Jazz.

If you normally watch this you can catch up on previous episodes and laugh again and again. Obviously camera quality could not be the best due to it's time so it's called Fresh emphasis on the capital F. Sound was on point also no problems their and the "laugh" track was not over emphasised and stressed too much.

The show's creators and cast are interviewed for a documentary. There' a bit much in the way of happy talk regarding just about everyone LOL. It does give us a good explanation into how the show was formed, rituals of characters and the opening credits' rap are a dream. My personal highlight has to be the verbal matches between Will and Carlton wow, the short jokes certainly start from early and it's legendary from the get go.

This show orientates around fat jokes, Will getting into predicaments and family struggles. This is very family friendly and character performances are very good. I myself enjoyed this and would recommend to anyone. HOW COULD YOU NOT WANT TO WATCH BIG WILLY FROM PHILLY BEING SILLY .

Manufacturer's product description

As the 1980s turned into the 1990s a new star was born when rapper/actor Will Smith donned the guise of THE FRESH PRINCE OF BEL AIR. Shipped out to California to live with wealthy relatives, he sets about teaching his adopted family some street-smarts, while his original reason for being there--to learn some old fashioned beliefs and values--rapidly falls by the wayside. His Aunt Vivian ((Janet Hubert-Whitten) and uncle Philip Banks (James Avery) can't control him, and the laughs continue to flow as The Fresh Prince attempts to get everyone else to fit in around him, including cousins Carlton (Alfonso Ribeiro), Hilary (Karyn Parsons) and Ashley (Tatyana Ali). Now a legendary part of early-1990s television scheduling, this release includes the first season in its entirety.
