...found this website whilst searching the internet, they were offering a free CV review service which I thought was fantastic, and as I am looking for a new career, they could really come in useful. I followed the steps and completed all my details on the online form, attached my current CV and recieved an email back from them with a customer ID number and a telephone number to call. What I finally received was a reply so general, that it could have been copied and pasted from any website with CV writing advice. ...a bit saying that 'if the employers have to go through your date of birth, nationality etc... in the beginning of the CV they will lose interest before they reach your studies bla bla bla...'. Well, I mention some (not all) of these details at the very end of my CV. I am convinced that they send out the same reply to everyone who asks for this service. ...to 'three days'. The Not So Good: In my opnion the review supplied was a genric or standard response - something other reviewers have noted. It said use action words, sell yourself. The usual pyschobable. The problem I have is that my C.V did this already, for example it noted I had secured a contract of x amount per year.
