In September this company advertised a special offer for a free CV review by telephone. After spending hours waiting on their telephone queue, I decided to take the next best offer, a CV review by email, costing £8. I ordered it, paid for it and after a week I had to write to them again and remind them of my order.
What I finally received was a reply so general, that it could have been copied and pasted from any website with CV writing advice. No corrections on my CV, no recommendations, no feedback on the format and contents - just the usual 'your CV sells you, the employers only have seconds to look at it, it must attract their attention ...'.
I know for certain that nobody even looked at my CV. In all this general advice was a bit saying that 'if the employers have to go through your date of birth, nationality etc... in the beginning of the CV they will lose interest before they reach your studies bla bla bla...'. Well, I mention some (not all) of these details at the very end of my CV.
I am convinced that they send out the same reply to everyone who asks for this service. I don't know how they rate when they make your CV from scratch, but don't pay them for a CV review, it's a total waste of money.

Hi, I am the IT Manager of The Fuller CV and this has just been brought to my attention. As I've said in my message to the author, I am disappointed to see that he has had a bad experience with our products and services. I've asked the author to get in touch with me directly to see if we can resolve his issues. For every one unhappy client, we receive thousands who are happy and from now on, we will make a point in asking our clients to post in websites such as these.
If you have any further comments on Fuller CV please do not hesitate to message me or post here.

I had a similarly bad experience with these guys but wasted about £130.
You can read about it at gabrielharrison.co.uk/The%20Fuller%20CV/
Also worth reading jobseekersadvice.com/forum2/viewtopic.php?p=5423 for a perfect explanation of why the service was so bad for me.

I've never heard of these so assume they are local to a certain part of the country? A bit more info would be helpful, what did they offer to do in the small print etc etc :-)
Advantages: The free informationo n the website and YouTube channel. Disadvantages: Really aggressive sales pitch makes you feel like its the end of the world.
