...i would say this is the best game I have played for the PS3 yet.

What first struck me about this game was the control of the fighting, not just your normal punch kick. The right hand analog is used to swing punches in the movement you want, also grabbing hold of a person and chucking them around, through windows banging there head against tables, all the usual peaceful, stuff can be controled by the simple movement of the actual ... more
This is not just another gta rip off! This is a seriously great game. I fact i would say this is the best game I have played for the PS3 yet.

Can't be bothered to play the missions go and extort some shop keepers for some protection money, if they don't pay? trash the joint untill they start paying.
Hardcore gaming violent and addictive.
This game holds it own against gta, I would be quite happy buying this game and gta when it comes out as it does hold its own as a decent game not a gta rip off.

...brilliant game,, if you like the godfather movies your gonna love the game,, This game is very addictive and the thing i love the most is that you start of as nothing and battle your way to the top.
Yea gotta rise to the top in the corleone family. and killing off the other 4 families is brilliant,, good graphics and especially good if you have a HD enabled tv set,, before i played this game people were saying the graphics were bad but i cant disagree ...

the good:- the godfarther don edition is amazingly fun the weapons that you can use are quite nice and at times humorus it really goes beyond a pick up and play hours of fun is to be had with it wether your extorting buisnesses taking over rackets or following the main story theres always something to do the bad:- its hard to be critical on such an early next gen game the graphics are ok not the best ive seen on the ps3 but still enjoyable the only ...

Advantages: Extra features, nice relations to the movie, decent graphics Disadvantages: maybe a little repetitive at first if youve completed the first edition
Since the original game i played on the xbox the game has improved graphically and additionally to gameplay. i enjoyed the original but at first found it a little repetitive repeating story probably because i only completed the first edition a week before i got this one but i looked at the graphics and could tell a difference, theres now 2 new gangs to fend off to keep you entertained. , theres also car bombs, which adds a nice effect, if youve only ... ...it does folow the movie a bit however you have to remember its a custom character you create so things become a bit different, but you unlock these on the main menu in movie scenes you find through out the city by collecting reels. Anyway if you dont have a next gen console get the original for PS2 or xbox its still a good game and really cheap now just doesnt have as many features. ...
