The Good, The Bad and The Undead - Kim Harrison

Advantages: Incredibly easy to read, and very fast paced
Disadvantages: Stroyline feels a little linear

This book is the second in the Rachel Morgan series that is written by Kim Harrison. As my previous review stated, I was introduced to this series by my husband, whom had the audacity to purchase a book for me, in the smug knowledge that he knew what I liked. And, much to my disgust he was spot on! And what's more, it hooked me enough to want to continue the series!! Rachel Morgan is a witch in a world where a genetic disease in tomatoes killed ...
...with certain foibles that make the world different enough, but not completely alien. Things such as human's morbid fear of tomatoes (in spite of the fact that the virus has now died out) add an intersting take on life! Rachel is an independant 'bounty hunter', and in the previous book we learned how she managed to get into this position. As the second book follows on a couple of months after this, I'm afraid there will be a couple of spoilers coming ... Read review
